Popular game show, which was played by two two-member teams; one member being shown the "password" and then giving one word clues to their partner who attempted to guess the "password". Hosted by Allen Ludden, the show was re-titled Password Allstars in 1974 and featured six celebrities instead of the celebrity-contestant pairs. The show returned on NBC in 1979 as Password Plus.
