This quiz show had a panel format. Panelists had to guess a word or phrase (which had been submitted by a viewer) one letter at a time. Regarded as one of the more intelligent game shows, it was originally hosted by Dr. Bergen Evans from 1951 to 1956, then by Bill Cullen in 1956. The show originated in Chicago on the DuMont network then in 1954, moved to New York and during 1955 and 1956 both regular and guest panelists were seen.
