They got in easily. (Of course they would get in. They had two famous men with them.) They found a table and sat down, ordering drinks. They finished their first round of drinks and eventually had gone through five rounds.
"Amy wanna dance?" A.J. asked standing up and held his hand out.
"I guess so." Amy said looking at Kev.
"Go ahead." Kevin said shooing her off with his hands.
"Well Kev since they've left us alone, why don't we dance?" Carmen said smiling at Kevin.
"Why not?" he replied walking onto the dance floor with Carmen following close behind. While dancing Kevin kept his eye on A.J. and Amy. They were dancing apart but still having a ball. They were laughing up a storm while boogying. Kevin smiled knowing A.J. wouldn't try anything. He turned his attention back to Carmen. He was surprised to see her staring back at him enticing him. She was beautiful. A nice body, medium length, light brown hair with beautiful blue eyes. Only problem was that she wasn't the one he loved and that was Amy. She pulled him close and wrapped her arms around his neck. Kevin could smell the liquor on her breath. Carmen pulled him into a kiss. He pushed her back breaking the kiss.
"What you don't want me?" Carmen said with big puppy dog eyes. She approached him again.
"Your drunk. It isn't right."
"Ok, Ok I'll behave." Carmen said backing up frustrated he had turned her down but not discouraged.
"Let's go sit down." Kevin said walking back to the table. A slow song came on and A.J. and Amy came back to the table to get their partners. Kevin held Amy close. Her head rested on his chest. She felt so at ease and Kevin felt that it was so right to have her there in his arms. He regretted the kiss even if it wasn't his fault. The guilt waged against his heart. He threw it out of his mind and just concentrated on Amy. Carmen looked at them over A.J.'s shoulder. Kevin would be hers, she didn't care how or who she had to hurt to have him.
