~*Chap. 12*~ The Lake
Saturday morning Trisha,Nick, and Sara had gotten all their things together for the week end. They were all at Trishas house waiting for Aj to come over and pick them up.Brian didn't do much for the last couple of days he just sat around his house. He wouldn't answer the phone or any thing. Brittany had been trying to call him the whole time she felt terrible for what she had done and she wanted to explain but Brian didn’t want to hear it. Brittany stood outside Brian's house screaming his name trying to get his attention, when one of the neighbors came out to see what all the fuss was about.
“What the hell do you want?” Brittany asked now forwarding all her attention to the little old lady standing out on her porch.
“BRIAN!!!!!”she yelled once again.He could hear her but he really didn't care.
“BRIAN PLEASE!!”she yelled.
“Look Brittany there's nothing I have to say to you so please just leave you caused me enough pain!” he said poking his head out of his bed room window. Just then Aj pulled up in the drive. He Honked the horn and Brian came out with Tyke and a bag,he got in the car as Brittany tried to get his attention and talk to him.
“Look Brittany why don’t you leave him alone.. ok can’t you see he’s hurt? the last thing he wants to do is talk to you, so just leave him alone”Aj said as he pulled out of the drive way .
“Brian I love you, I'm sorry” she yelled as she fell to the ground in tears.
“Thanks man! I really need to get away for a while!”
“Its fine B I just hope this will help you figure this out!”
“Me too!” he sighed as he looked out the window.
“So have you told any one about this yet?”
“No!!!, don’t tell Trisha, please, I donate want to have her worrying about this! It’s your guy’s weekend so just pretend like I'm not even there k?” he said looking toward Aj in a pleading manner.
“Ok ....fine but I can’t lie to her!!”
“I know, just don’t mention it!!” Just then they pulled up into Trisha’s drive.
“Ill be right back”Aj said as he hopped out and walked over to the door.
“Hey Aj” Trisha said as she opened the door.
“Hey” he said kissing her cheek softly
“You guys ready?” she asked turning toward Nick and Sara
“Yea”they both said in unison.
A couple hours later they arrived at the lake which was surrounded by pine Trees. They reserved a cabin near the lake but far enough away that they would have privacy without fans or media finding out where they were staying. The cabin had three rooms, a bathroom, fire place kitchen, and a living room. They walked into there rooms and put there stuff away.
“This is great! I can’t believe how nice this place is” Trisha exclaimed.
“Well I picked the best one they got”Aj replied as he went over to his bed and layed down.
“So why is Brian here?”she asked walking over to him and siting down.
Aj hesitated for a minute “What am I going to do?”he thought to himself.
“soo??”
“uhh...he didn't say he just wanted to come”he lied
“Really??..ok then I'm going to call Brit. and ask her if she wants to come”
“No!!! don't!!”he outbursted
“..Why shouldn't I?” she asked now more curious then before”
“Umm because Brian told me he wanted time to himself!” he replied a little to quickly.
“Aj your not hiding any thing from me now are you?”
“No”
“Ok Aj whatever”she said as she got up and went into the other room.
Later that night They were all sitting around the fire place talking.
“You know what I haven't played in the longest time?”Sara said
“What?”
“Truth or Dare..I remember always playing that with my friends back home”
“Oh well why don't we play it then?”Nick suggested
“Uhh i don’t think I'm gonna play guy’s k?”Brian replied sluggishly.
“Come on Bri, play!”Nick said looking at his friend
“Oh aright”he sighed
“Ok so who’s gonna start?”
“Uhh I will”Aj said with a grin on his face.
“Nick, truth or dare?”
“Truth”
“So just how far have you gotten with Sara? like have you guys done it yet?” he asked smiling evilly
“No we haven't!!!”he replied blushing
“Brian truth or dare?”he asked
“Uh...truth I guess”
“Ok do you think you will marry Brittany? Brian didn't want to answer, it was just to painful for him, and if he did he figured they were gonna ask him about it and he knew he wasn't going to be able to handle it so he got up.
“I'm sorry guys but I don’t feel like playing this any more” he replied,then walked into his room.
Trisha got up and went into the back.
“Trisha come back” Aj called after her.
“Ill be right back”she said as she walked into Brian's room.
“Brian?”
“Yea”he said as he turned around to face her. She could see the pain in his eyes when they made eye contact.
“What's wrong?” she asked
“Nothing why do you ask?” he replied trying to smile but that smile soon faded into a frown.
“Brian don’t even try to hide this from me, tell me please”
“Nothing Trisha really!”
“Yea Brian what ever!” she said angrily then walked into the other room. She wasn't really mad at Brian.She knew that he had the right to not tell her but the fact that Aj knew about it and then lied to her really pisssed her off.
“Aj.. what's wrong with Brian?” she asked hoping he wouldn't lie to her again.
“I’m not suppose to tell you please don't get mad.”
“I’m not, but why are you guys keeping this from me?”
“Because....can we please talk about this in the other room?”Trisha nodded and Aj grabbed her hand and they walked into the kitchen.
“Soo??” she asked impatiently
“He didn't want to say any thing cause he doesn't want you to worry about it, he said he wants you to have fun out here, and not have to worry about his problem.”
“Ok, but what's his problem?”
“I can’t tell you, you have to ask him”
“I did but he wont tell me”
“Well its not in my place to say”
“Ok, fine”she sighed .
