"Nick, I'm sorry about all the trouble I've caused lately. I know your going out of your way for me and I really don't deserve it so if ya know....." I trailed off.

"Don't be silly! It's nice to have someone here to take care of the place while we're gone. Plus we enjoy your company." Nick said grabbing my shoulders. I gave him a look that pretty much summed it up to saying 'I know that your not telling me the whole truth, but I'm not totally sure'.

"I'm not lying to you. I promise." He answered to my look.

"Your making too many promises in this friendship. Let me do something for you." I said shrugging his hands off my shoulders and walking across the room.

"Well I am kinda hungry...." He said with a slight grin.

"Call everyone over. I'm gonna make the best meal ever for you 6!" I said and walked into the kitchen. I peered my head into the fridge to see what I could make of it. 'Well,' I thought to myself. 'I could turn most of this stuff into a decent meal. But a little grocery shopping is needed.' I walked back into the living room and found Nick on the phone.

"Do you mind if Kevin, Brian, and Howie bring their girlfriends?" He asked holding his hand over the phone.

"Not if you let my use your car. I need to run to the store for a few things."

"Alright. Here's the keys to the Prowler. Be careful with her." He said tossing me some keys.

"Cool! A sports car! I'm gonna have fun with this baby!" I said and rushed out the door. I took a look back and saw the frightened look on his face. Priceless. I opened the garage door and found the purple Prowler as the second car. I hoped in, stuffed the keys in the ignition, and started to back out. Finding my way to the local Kroger was quite a challenge, but I made it. I pressed the alarm button on the key ring and made my way inside. I looked around for a minute and decided I would need a cart. I grabbed one and followed my way through the pathways of the Kroger.

*~*~*One hour later*~*~*

"Your total comes to 62.43, miss." The cashier said to me. I grabbed my wallet out and passed over exact change to her, not waiting for the ticket. I pushed my cart through to the car and put the bags in the back seat, while discarding the cart. I hopped into the driver seat and hoped I could find my wy home easier then getting here. I though about my own personal recipe on the way home for my veg lasagna, Caesar salad, and french bread. I bought the bread in the pop open can stuff cause I wouldn't have enough time to make it homemade. I finally pulled into the garage and stepped out of the car, grabbing the bags of food on the way. I rang the doorbell due to all the bags I had in my hand and didn't have enough strength to open the door. Nick soon came rushing over.

"Thanks. Now leave. When you come back be ready to stuff yourselves." I said walking into the kitchen.

"Yes ma'am!" He said and walked outside to his car. I herd him drive off as I wondered over to the CD player and found his N'Sync CD. Blasting it up, I walked back to the kitchen and started on my meal.....

*~*~*3 Hours Later*~*~*

"I hope your done, cause we're all ready and waiting!" I herd Nick shout downstairs. I was just finishing getting ready in the spare bedroom when he walked in. I finished putting on my black flairs with my baby blue Power Puff Girls shirt and belt and waltzed downstairs in my baby blue Reeboks. I left my hair down cause I didn't feel much like messing with it and it was dry so it should behave. Seeing the looks on the faces of everyone in the dining room kinda shocked me.

"What's wrong?" I said walking slower.

"Where's the food?" Nick asked.

"Oh! Geez! I thought something was wrong. Follow me. I know with there being what 10, 11 people, I'd have better luck outside." I said leading them out back. "So, here we go." I had 2 picnic tables set up together with blue and white checkered table clothes over them. The food was spread out with foil over all of it so the bugs and animals wouldn't get to it and so it would stay warm. Well let's just say I had some fun.

"Wow, Daisy! It looks great." I turned around to look at their faces and gasped.

"Jessi? Jessi what on earth are you doing here?" I said rushing to my old best friend from high school. When I first started going to East Mont High, she was the nice senior who had my back while she was there. She left last year for collage and we haven't really made contact since.

"I'm going to Florida State! What are you doing here?" She said hugging me.

"I live here now. I finally got away from my parents and ran into these baboons!" I said laughing. "Wow, it's so good to see you again!" I said letting her go.

"I know! Geez you haven't changed a bit." She said looking me over.

"So which one are you dating?!" I said with a grin.

"The goofy one. In other words Brian." She said giggling.

"Wow. I always did think he was a cutie." I said giggling with her.

"You better keep off. He's mine!" She joked. I laughed with her again and walked over to the rest of the guys smiling.

"Alright, Daisy, this is my girlfriend Amber, that's Howie's girlfriend Crystal, and you apparently know Jessi. So let's eat." Kevin said sitting down. I sat between Nick and Jessi so we could catch up. And Nick just because I could.

"Well we have Veg Lasagna, cause I know Mandy doesn't eat red meat, and I thought you guys would like it. There's Caesar salad and french bread with garlic and mozzarella cheese." I told them. Everyone already had the foil off the plates.

"Didn't you teach me this, Daisy?" Jessi said taking a bite of the lasagna.

"Yeah, I think so." I said taking a bite also.

"Well your going to have to teach it to me too." Mandy told me.

"Me too!" Kevin chimed in.

"Yeah, here also." Howie said.

"Tell you what. I'll give you all a copy of the recipe before you leave. Can I use your computer?" I asked facing Nick.

"Sure." He said between bites. The rest of the dinner was made of all of us getting to know each other a little better, me and Jessi taking a hike along memory lane. Dinner seemed to finish quickly. Crystal, Mandy, Jessi, and Amber helped me clean the huge mess outside, while we talked about 'Girl Stuff'.

"So, Daisy. How did you meet Nick?" Amber asked. Mandy, Jessi and I grew silent. I really didn't want to share my version of what I call nightmares with 2 girls I hardly knew. I know I did it with Mandy, but well, I could tell I could trust her. I didn't really know about Amber and Crystal.

"I'd rather not discuss it." I said walking away with a pile of plates in my hand. Jessi and Mandy followed with dishes in their hands also.

"Don't worry, I don't really trust them either. Something about them. It's weird." Jessi said putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Their gonna break their hearts, ya know." I said after putting the dishes in the sink.

"I've tried telling Howie that, but dose anyone ever listen to me? Of course not!"

"Hey! I do!" I shouted.

"But you don't count!"

"Huph! Fine, be that way!" I said and stuck my nose up and walked right back outside to gather more dishes.
