For the whole day Stacey slept because she never did like to sleep on the. Probably because she hated flying. But she had to get used to it. Every now and then Nick would sneak in a when A.J. wasn't around and lay beside her, just watching her sleep. Eventually Stacey would wake up while he was there and they would talk and hold each other. Considering they've only been on one official date, they had already fallen in love with each other but never admitted it to one another. But, Nick and Stacey knew each other when the Backstreet boys first got together so they already knew almost everything about the other. Nick had a crush on her since then too. But, he kept it to himself and then Brian found out and well, that's how they got together. So Nick owes Brian big time. Finally Stacey woke up for the last time while Nick was there.
"Hi sleepy head." Nick said
"Hi, what time is it?" she asked groggily
"Ummm, almost ten." he answered.
"How long have I been asleep?"
"About, eleven hours."
"Oh, my god! Really, it only seems like maybe three."
"Well, that's jet lag for ya."
"Do you wanna do somethin', cause like I've wasted my whole day." asked Stacey
"I have an idea. It's really nice out, wanna go to the beach again? The stars are all out right now. Then we can just sit in each others arms and listen to the waves." said Nick
"Ok. That would be so nice." When they got there it was just like before and this was a different beach. The sand was white, the stars were out, and all you could hear was the waves. Nick and Stacey sat down and he held her in his arms so she would never leave him again.
"This is wonderful." said Stacey staring at the water. Nick just held her and smelled her hair. He thought she smelled so nice, like vanilla and buttercups. All he wanted was her in his arms anywhere and that's it.
"Do you have a concert tomorrow?" asked Stacey
"Um, yeah. Are you gonna dance?" said Nick
"You bet your cute little ass I am!" she answered and gave him a playful kiss. They sat there and watching the waves flow in taking in the moment. Nick held her tighter as he knew she was beginning to get a little cold. He kissed her, and then Stacey said,
"Why don't we go and finish this at the hotel." with a playful sound in her voice Nick and Stacey went back to the hotel into Stacey's room. As Stacey shared a room with Abigail, who knew about her and Nick, she wouldn't bother them. Nick and Stacey began to kiss as Stacey lye down on the bed. Nick leaned over her kissing her. Nick broke the kiss and said,
"You know, I love you." Stacey looked at him and said,
"I love you too." and she grabbed his face and started kissing him again. He lye down beside her holding her in his arms. Then A.J. walked in.
"What the hell! Get off my damn sister!"
"A.J.! What, how, how did you get in?" asked Stacey as she rolled away and Nick stood up.
"More like, how did he get in!?! Abigail lent me her key cause I forgot something."
"It's not what you think A.J." Nick said "Well, actually it is but," Before Nick could finish A.J. punched him in the jaw. Stacey yelled,
"What are you doing!? You just hit my boyfriend!"
"It's for your own good Stacey." said A.J. cracking his knuckles
"Nick I'm so sorry, are you okay?" asked Stacey bending over to see if he was all right. Abigail walked in stunned to see what happened. A.J. yelled to Abigail
"Hey Abigail, did you know these to were goin' out!?"
"Well, actually yeah but," answered Abigail
"Who the hell knew? Was it just me that didn't know?"
"We didn't tell you because I knew you'd act like this!" said Stacey. She yelled
"A.J. get out!!!" He walked out of her room and slammed the door. Abigail said, "I'll go and leave you to alone."
"Thanks Abi." said Stacey "Oh Nick, I'm really sorry. Let me see your jaw."
"I'm okay. I'll be all right." said Nick rubbing his jaw.
"I don't know what to do, like, should I talk to him now or in the morning so he has time to cool off?"
"Think in the morning, that way A.J. can think." said Nick climbing back on the bed. Stacey asked "Do you want to sleep in here tonight. Cause Abigail falls asleep really fast and I'll have no one to talk to."
"Yeah okay." Nick said and then laid down. They fell asleep holding each other.
