*The next morning*
“Nick man, those girls are gonna wake up soon and they’re gonna need some Tylenol” AJ whispered
“Yeah, and a good breath mint if they don’t wanna get caught” Nick added “What kind of tooth paste do these girls use?” Nick asked
“How the fuck should I know, I don’t snoop in their bags” AJ said
“Well, I got some crest, maybe we could brush their teeth for them, quietly” Nick suggested, Nick looking as if a light bulb had just appeared above his head
“Yeah sure Nick, like we can be that sneaky to brush their teeth while they’re sleeping, how are they going to spit when they’re out cold faggot? AJ said
“How else are we gonna cover up for them?”Nick said
“We could put a little bit of toothpaste in their mouths” AJ said thoughtfully
“Ok, let’s do it” Nick said in a super hero voice, hitting his head on the top of the bunk while sitting up too fast “OWWWW! Fuck that hurt” Nick said as AJ was pissing himself laughing
“Hey they’re getting up now” AJ said as he grabbed a tube of toothpaste and climbed up on Isabelle’s bunk
“Ok” Nick said as he too grabbed his tube of toothpaste and got up in Shawne’s bunk
“NO!!!!! BRETT STOP!!!!” Isabelle screamed
“What! Who’s Brett?” AJ asked as he got off
“NO! PLEASE! I DON’T WANNA DO THIS!” Isabelle screamed again hitting AJ and sat up holding her legs and rocking herself back and forth
“Belle, it’s me AJ” AJ said as he tried to hug her
“Go away” Isabelle said still rocking herself
“Isabelle, are you ok sis?” Shawne asked as she got up on her sister’s bunk
“What’s her problem” AJ asked Shawne
“She’ll be ok, Can you just leave us a lone for a while?” Shawne answered as she climbed on her sisters bunk and shut the curtains
*1 hour later*
“Man! I feel really bad, I wonder what happened to her” AJ asked
“I don’t know, it must have been something bad for her to react that way” Nick said
“She kept calling me Brett, who ever that is” AJ said
“Hmmm, maybe Brett was a boyfriend or something” Nick said thoughtfully
“Maybe, he must’ve been a real prick then” AJ said
“Maybe...nah forget it” Nick said
“What?” AJ asked
“Well maybe she was. . .Raped or something” Nick said quietly
“That would explain it, but I think we should wait for her to tell us before we jump to conclusions” AJ said
“Ok then, I’m hungry, when are we stopping?” Nick
“I’m going back to bed, I’ll see you guys later” AJ said as he walked off
*4 hours later*
“Hey guys, where’s AJ?” Shawne said as she climbed out of Isabelle’s bunk
“Still sleeping, why?” Kevin said as he, Howie, Brian and Nick were playing Nintendo
“Oh, just wondering, Izzy wanted to talk to him” Shawne said “But since he’s not up, I’m going back to sleep good night”
“‘Night” all four guys said in unison
*3 AM*
AJ couldn’t sleep, he was still thinking about what happened to Isabelle to make her react the way she did. He heard the girl above him move. ‘Maybe she’s awake, and then maybe just maybe I can find out what happened’ AJ thought to himself as he sat up, and started to stand.
“No Brett, get away, I’m not ready for it yet!” Isabelle whispered as she saw a strange shadow approach the bunk through the curtain. Slowly the curtain opened “No!!!! Brett please!”
“Isabelle it’s me AJ.” AJ told the frightened girl
“What the fuck are you doing scaring me like that asshole!!!!!” Isabelle said as she gave AJ a punch to the arm almost making him fall
“What’s wrong?” AJ asked as he climbed into her bunk
“Nothing’s wrong! Everything’s just peachy, you just scared me” Isabelle said, but AJ could sense that she was lying
“Please tell me what’s wrong Belle. I need to know, so I won’t feel so guilty about what happened this morning” AJ said concerned
“You scared the shit out of me this morning, that’s what’s wrong”
“That’s not it”
“Something happened just before we found out about winning the contest.” Isabelle started, she knew AJ was really concerned. She felt bad for treating him like she did this morning, and she felt that he felt really bad for what happened as well
“What?”
“I don’t wanna bore you with my problems” Isabelle said
“I wanna know, I promise I won’t tell anyone” AJ said
“Yeah right!!! You keep a secret? That’s hard to believe AJ, you even said so your self, don’t trust me with secrets” Isabelle Mocked
“Well if it’s bad, I will keep it, I promise” AJ said, he looked really sincere
“You have to swear you won’t tell the anyone! Not even the guys! Especially not the cops!”Isabelle said
“Alright, I promise!”
“Brett was my ex boyfriend, He is 18 years old, and was very sweet. We dated for about 6 months. On our 6 month anniversary we went out to celebrate. He made a very nice dinner for 2, candle light and everything. It was soooooo romantic. After dinner we headed over to the cliff, that’s a very romantic place where a lot of couples go to make out and, well more.” Isabelle explained, AJ nodded “We were just over looking the city and it was very very gorgeous, we started to kiss and make out, he started to put his hand up my shirt and take off my pan..my pan” Isabelle sad as she started to cry, AJ put his arm around her and hugged her
“You don’t have to go any farther, he raped you didn’t he” AJ asked Isabelle nodded
“So, that’s how come you freaked out this morning?” AJ asked
Again Isabelle nodded and the tears started to flow even harder
“It’s alright, no one’s gonna hurt you from now on.” AJ soothed
“What’s goin’ on over there?” Shawne said sleepily ‘THUMP’ “FUCK!!!!!” Shawne said as she hit her head on the ceiling of the bus
“Are you alright?” AJ asked, but Shawne was aleady snoring. AJ and Isabelle chuckled.
Isabelle turned back to AJ
“I’m gonna go back to sleep now, not very many people know about the rape, just you, Shawne, my twin and her twin, I’ll tell everyone when I’m ready ok? thanks for listening” Isabelle said “now get the fuck off my bed” Isabelle laughed
“Alright , alright, I’m going!!” AJ said laughing “good night”
