"Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.

The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God.

The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storms that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment into our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them."

We would comment at this point that the American Bald Eagle is the symbol for freedom. This means the free-flowing of energy in the ways of honor and integrity. Whenever you see a region that has been absent of the eagle for a period of time and you see the return of the eagle, you will understand that the region is now under protection. Greet these majestic birds with great joy. Visit the areas where they have been seen and call them forth again.

One of the things that the eagle can do to help is to destroy those animals infected with rabies. The eagle is not harmed by rabies.

The eagle can also clear the skies of contaminants and threatening things such as dangerous storm clouds and lightning. If you look up into the sky and see an eagle circling, and he is doing so counter-clockwise (from his perspective, not yours), you will know that something powerful is going to happen. Eagles work with energies contained within airflows or currents. They can warn you of coming storms, but they can also control that storm.

It takes four eagles to control a storm, so call them forth; they are great protectors. Your forefathers understood this and this is the reason the eagle was chosen.
