I saw, on the still dark waters, the moon before our descend. Stepped on the cold land. A cab we hailed took us to our room of a hotel which's weathered by time's sand. Tracy Arm cruise: my wildest dream come true. Mountains, glaciers, picturesque scenery; Seals baskin' in the sun, bergs of icy blue was perhaps the best of our itinerary. The ne'erending walk to the Mendenhall, Our hungry attempts to find some food might have given us fatigue, overall, but this sidetrack was definitely good. Yes I have to admit I missed it all: the delays, detours and the surgery too. Through the pain and the laughter it is agreed. This whole trip was not made by one, but two. |
