The haunting past comes back to me And tears away reality But what is real and what is not Is all that resides in the thought. But if life like an illusion That ends in nought and confusion Or is there something more to life Beyond the ordinary strife ? The twilight world where nothing's clear Is like a trance that frees our fears But when we wake up from our sleep What's here is there, the truth sinks deep. Hopes and desires lures the meek The flesh though strong, the spirit weak Be it here or be it beyond Dreams are what you wake up from. |
