Here is a 2nd set of Rome pictures.

Here is a shot inside St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. Absolutely gorgeous!

Here is Sarah at the entrance to the Vatican. All the statues up on top of the structure in the background are of old Popes. Apparently, in the "on" season, this is the area that people have to wait for hours to get into the cathedral. Fortunately for us, we were in the "off season" and thus got right in!

Another shot of the Sistine Chapel - this one is the famous painting of God touching Adam.

This is a picture of the Sistine Chapel. It was much smaller than we had aniticpated, but still quite dramatic nonetheless.

Here are Sarah and Sophie throwing a coin over their shoulders into the Trevi Fountain so they can one day return to Rome!

This is Castel St. Angelo at dusk. We didn't actually go into the fortress, but it looked cool so we took this shot.
