Combined Reserve League overview

Reserve football

There have been three versions of the Combined Reserve League. The first was formed in 1958-59 by clubs excluded from the Scottish League’s reserve competition.

After the league disbanded in 1972, the Scottish League re-used the name for two its competitions for minor reserve sides.
