Extensive information on my own heritage, Oglala

My craft name is Rowan SilverWolf and my Native American name is RestlessWolf. My biological father is three-quarters Oglala (Sioux, for the layman). Although I do not know him, or anyone in his family for that matter, my heritage is very important to me. The one thing that I do respect my father for, is giving me my Native American name before he left. My mother remembered that it was RestlessWolf, though she cannot remember the translation into the Lakota language. I did not sleep much as an infant, hence Restless; and I have "the silver piercing gaze of the wolf" (my father's words), hence Wolf. I believe that my name suits me well, even to this very day.

The only other tidbit that he left us with, is that I am supposed to be from the line of Black Elk, an Oglala Shaman. I have done much research on him and the "Sioux" nations, and will be presenting that to you as soon as possible.

Until I am able to get my Native American information up, please feel free to browse the beautiful sites listed on the next page.
