Sage is a beautiful young lady, with 2 brothers. She had a very close-knitted family. Harlan, a drop-dead gorgeous hunk, was asked to get her to go home for her sister-in-law's childbirth. He was attracted to her, and could not stop himself from making fun of her endlessly. Sage was also attracted to Harlan.
She was told later that Harlan was employed to help save The Tyler Drilling Co. When Lucky, her brother, found them together, he beat up Harlan. He was just about to leave, when sage went after him, telling him her plans.
They searched from prospective buyers for their equipment together. When they returned, Harlan proposed. But he met his step-father and mother. He found out that he actually had a sizeable amount of inheritance from his late father. He was about to leave again when Sage went after him with a cleaver.
