This is one of my favourite stories!!
Kirsten was just a normal teenager who goes to high school and had a boyfriend, Troy. But she aimed to go to the Olympics, as she had been training very hard as a figure skater for years.
Her new coach pointed out her faults, and told her that doing pair skating would be a much better idea. Her partner was Kai. Kai used to be an ice hockey player, but he dropped out from the team. Although he took up figure skating, he despised it.
After lots of practice, they skated beautifully. It was like magic. They began to have feelings for each other. Kirsten told Troy that she did not love him any longer. Kai also told her that he loved her. But as the competition was near, Kai began to have doubts about skating.
Kirsten talked to him, telling him that he must confront his problems, not run away from them. He took up the challenge. They even won the regionals!! What a perfect couple, on and off the ice... ^.^
