ACT II Members

  Aaron Altieri – Lead Guitar, Vocals and Audio Engineer. Aaron is one of the original members of ACT II. Before that Aaron shared his musical talents with various bands throughout the DC metropolitan area. He doesn’t just play the guitar and sing – Aaron also writes music. Aaron holds an audio engineering degree from Omega Studios and has shared his expertise with ACT II making them one of the best sounding bands in the area!! Currently Aaron works for Bell Atlantic.

Charlie Burch & Amy Fehl– Sound Technicians & Web Masters.  Charlie joined ACT II in May 2000.  Charlie also works the sound for various local bands. Charlie currently works at the Charles County Detention Center, but doesn't worry since he carries a whistle with him in case he runs into any trouble!  Amy has been doing sound for ACT II since March 1999. Her previous experience includes being a patron of bars and clubs AND listening to the sounds of many bands. Outside of her love for music, she works in the NAVSEA NMCI Project Office. Their tip for dealing with stress: Go Bowling!

   Steve Keene, Percussion. With the support and patience of his family, Steve is finally fulfilling a life-long dream as a drummer in a truly awesome band! Steve recently had a magical experience when he played with a percussionist from Santana. In Steve’s spare time he likes to hunt – he has been know to hang out in Canada bear hunting with only a bow and arrow!!

  Jimmy Kjelland, bass, and vocals… Jimmy was born and raised in Southern Maryland. In May 1999 Jimmy graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park receiving his BS in engineering. Currently Jimmy is a mechanical engineer for the government working in Indian Head, MD. Outside of work and music Jimmy is a car fanatic, enjoys motorcycle riding, his R/C airplane and snow skiing.

  Michelle Kjelland – Lead Vocals. God, Music, and Family have always been strong influences in Michelle’s life and have helped to bring her to where she is today. Michelle currently works for the government in Patuxent River as a contract specialist. Michelle was dying to become part of a band and when she was finally ready to do so - that is just when ACT II came along. ACT II had an opening for a female lead vocalist and Michelle fit the bill! ACT II has given Michelle the experience of performing live on a regular basis with a band of talented musicians playing beautiful music.  In addition to the musical adventures, Michelle has developed lasting friendships with the members of the band. Through ACT II she also met Jimmy Kjelland – her husband. Michelle’s belief in music, family and the Lord shines through in everything she does.

  Jason Mullikan – Keyboard.  Outside of ACT II Jason currently works for Verizon.
