one: The Quest for Fire and the Pit of Despair
Day ONE |
 Day
one starts with the Survivor plane dropping the castaways off at the mouth
of the horrifying rock garden. Up until this point, nobody has been allowed
to talk to anyone else to ensure that there will be no cross alliances
settled in day one. The inside of the plane is as quiet as a dead mouse's
lair. Until Marco Villacorta of
the red Pahgong tribe and Jason Salvador of
the blue Koobah tribe get their barf bags out and spew off some payload.
Otherwise, the trip was quite uneventful.
As they went down from the plane, host Glenn Probst meets up with them. He says very short yet important words.
And off they went to their campsites. Koobah found theirs quickly while Pahgong was a lil slower, although as succesful as the other tribe was in securing their campsite. |

CAMP
The political game in koobah camp starts off with an enormous bang. Alliances are quickly developing, with a different game plan for each.
Sazon: "I will pinch your nipple." Yao: "Oh no! I will join na! But we need an easy-to-beat guy to drag along to ensure our victory." Sazon: "Of course. Onas! Wanna join?"
Meanwhile, at the other side of their camp, another friendship blossoms.
However, on the other side of the rocks, we can see a different mood in the air... |

A rather jocular atmosphere is present in the fun-loving Pahgong camp. Let's zoom in on the conversation...
Erwin: "Oh, my goodness."

when we thought that everything's going uneventfully, both tribes receive
tree mail for the first reward challenge.
"Gas Panic! Stand tall, for if you fall, you sleep in the cold; whilst for the victor, they shall rest in the warmth ablaze." Onward to the reward challenge site they go... |
Glenn Probst: "Koobah, your camp goes to the
west. Pahgong, move east."
Armand Sazon:
"Yo Yao! Let's final two!"
Darwin Yao: "Final two? But we are sixteen!"
