A very nice three-CD survey of John's unreleased work, including concerts, rehearsals, acoustic demos on both piano and guitar, television appearances and studio work. Though a few of the takes are from 1968, the vast bulk of these recordings are from John's solo years. There is no track contained on these three discs that cannot be found elsewhere - so if you're determined to have it all, you'll probably want to skip this set. If, however, you're looking for a good companion to the officially released John Lennon Anthology, this is a good buy. All-in-all, a very good collection with very good sound on most tracks.
