Don't be expecting the quality of recordings on this one that you receive from the VigOtone efforts chronicalling the other Lennon albums. These tracks, supposedly nicked by Rock 'N' Roll sessions guitarist Jesse Ed Davis, are much the quality of the earlier released "May Pang tapes", though more extensive. One can only hope that VigOtone will eventually release a better version of these sessions, as promised for some time now.
