Lennon Remembers: Life With The Lions

Darthdisc DD005/6

The final two discs of a four CD set of the tapes for the famous December 1970 Rolling Stone interview, first published in the February 4, 1971 issue of Rolling Stone, and subsequently (1971) in book form as Lennon Remembers. Normally, I don't particularly like inteview discs, and don't list them here, but the historical significance of this one surpasses all others (except maybe the final interview), so here it is.

The last track on disc two is the hilarious parody of the entire interview from the National Lampoon Radio Dinner, Magical Mystery Tour, which, if you haven't heard it, takes very selected quotes from this interview, sets them to music, and produces quite an effect ;-)

For those who want to follow along in the book, I've included the page numbers from the latest edition (Verso, 2000) of Lennon Remembers.
