Despite its title, there are very few tracks here from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts
Club Band. It's a great collection nonetheless, as what there is is a lot of fun:
where else can you hear the audience intro and Billy Shears applause in isolation and
exended? The animal noises from Good Morning Good Morning are also fun to hear in
their original state. And... the disc has got some interesting examples of Lennon's
experimentation with the Mellotron as well as a clear, full version of It's All Too
Much. All in all, a great disc.
