This is a "must have" for any collector of Beatles music: the Beatles' famed audition tapes for Decca made on January 1, 1962. For many years selections from this audition have been released - sometimes even legitimately (albeit minus the Lennon/McCartney songs - but always at the wrong speed and in varying degrees of quality. While some dispute that even this disc is properly speed corrected, they sound pretty good to me. Anybody got a tuning fork?
This collection contains some nice bonus tracks, too.
