Hi! My name is Albert von Stocker's.
My nicknames are Albert, Albe, Al, and AB (Pronounced as said in the alphabet A, B). I am a 6 year old Standard Schnauzer and I love to find people. That's my job, finding people I mean. I have been training to become a Search dog since I was 2 years old. I started going on real searches in Augest of 1998. I am a trailing dog which means that I follow one person and only look for that person. I get their scent from one of their possession (i.e. a hat, sock, pillow case, ect.). I then follow that person's scent on the ground where they have gone. Some times, when the wind is right, I take the scent from the air and take a short cut to get to them. I really love my job! I get to spend lots of time with the ESAR (Explorer Search and Rescue) kids and my buddy KC. KC is my handler and owner. Sorta like a sister but without all the fighting. I have lived with her since I was an puppy. She is the one that introduced me to the search game. I realy love it. When I find a person I clean their faces and wiggle all over.
