..or "how to take bad train pictures"


Idea here was to get a train coming out of the Pinkerton Tunnel, as can be seen, the tunnel is not in the photo


At Pinkerton, these Conrail/NYC hoppers are filled with coal going east, where's it coming from?


Although I travel through Somerset occasionally, I have never seen a train on the S&C. Here is one at Rockwood with a full train of coal. The first loco was interesting, I think it was Seaboard, however I left it in the shadows of the Quemahoning Branch bridge.


It is good to see coal in hoppers rather than in semis on the highway
