Hometown Industry
In 1919, the building in the previous photo housed the Kenneweg Company Wholesale Grocery in one half. The other half included the Homanola Talking Machine Company and the Miller Mfg. Co. Miller made washing machines and "cyclone dust collectors". Was this the 1919 name for vacuum cleaners? The siding also served an Atlantic Refining warehouse. On the other side of the tracks a large building served a confectionery plant.
