Bundaleer
A decidedly unimpressive crag, particularly given how much we seem to hear about it in magazines etc. In fact, the crag strongly reminded me of Mt Keira (above Wollongong), which isn't really much of a compliment (not that Keira's that bad, it's just not a classic place to climb).
Bundaleer is also proof that Victoria is home to choss at least as bad as that found in New South Wales!
Pathos 25m 21
Great climbing on good rock. The crux is thin and strenuous, and is followed by a lovely thin slab at the top. Rap chain belay.
Blimp 25m 20
Definitely not worth 3 stars, even if it was a major psychological breakthrough etc. etc. Although it looks like a sustained layback, much of the corner can be avoided by face climbing to the left. This makes it relatively easy for the leader, although because the left hand wall is choss, the belayer has to dodge pebbles and sand hurtling down the wall! Chain rap anchor to the left of the (often wet) roof.
