My name is Chris. I am the owner of Christine's Custom Sewing. I fabricate window treatments for interior decorating stores. Two and a half years ago, I made the decision to start a business that operated out of my own home. This decision came from a need to earn an income while being home with my two children.

Although I do interior decorating, I do not do cloths construction. I've been getting a lot of questions about clothing problems that I cannot answer. Sorry about that. If possible, I will find the answers to those types of questions through my contacts.

Try as I might, I can not keep up with all of the mail coming in from everybody. I apologize in advance. Please be patient with me and I will try to respond as often as possible.

Recently, I was unbelievably lucky enough to find a large workspace outside my home for only $200.00 a month. No Utilities or extended lease. I thought that I might try it out for a while. My children are at the point were they can start taking care of themselves, and the worst that could happen is that I would have to lug those heavy machines and tables back to the basement (mine and my husband's poor back).

I've been very busy setting up my new space and looking for new work prospects. Things have finally leveled off.
