The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians is copied on most of my pages, with little alteration on my part. Visit their site for sure; my page could not exist without their excellent volumes! The GREATEST source on music, composers, musicians, ecc, that was ever created!!!!

This is not a good page, unless you want just a list of all the famous and semi-famous composers. It is rather extensive. No biographies, or dates: just names and a few pictures (terrible quality on the pictures, too).
