Comic Synopsis Volume 8

Melrein begins his journey to look for Silvermask with princess Elina. Fortunately, they meet Silvermask and his soldiers on the road.(Gee! They are just so lucky, aren't they?) Melrein asks Silvermask that whether he's prince Hilmes, but Silvermask denies. Elina walks out from the carriage and calls Silvermask: "Prince Hilmes." She tells him that she still remembers the happy time they had before. Silvermask says that he doesn't know what she's talking about and leads his soldiers away. Elina asks Melrein to follow Silvermask.

Yetwal guards the injured people back to Yekbatarna. She asks for help but no one is willing to do so. Accidentally, she meets king Innokentis in the back of the palace, the king promises to reward her, but soon she is kicked out by Giskal's guards. Evidently, Giskal house arrests king Innokentis. She goes back to the plaza where she left the injured people and suddenly remembers that Arslan told her if she needs help, look for it in an axle of the carriage. Yetwal finds out gold coins inside it.

When Arslan and friends ride accross the valley, a group of robbers blocks them. But when Alfreed announces her status, the robbers declare loyalty to her and Arslan, because the robbers are from the same clan with Alfreed and they know Alreed is the daughter of the leader.

In the palace of Yekbatarna, Giskal again is bothered by a lot of things. Hilmes walks in and asks about Andragoras. Giskal answers that Andragoras gains back all the military power from Arslan.

Meanwhile, Arslan and friends just arrive in a big city in the bay, Kiran. Arslan is looking at the sea and talking about his youth. He remembers that time he was happy with his nurse until one day the nurse and her husband were poisoned by the wine. The day when the funeral was hold, Arslan was brought to the palace as a prince.

Narsus suggests Arslan to visit Kiran. Kiran is a very big city with highly developed trading system. Then Narsus decides to visit an old friend, Jekater. Jekater's mistress has a restaurant, but Jekater isn't in the when they arrive at the restaurant. After the meal, Arslan, Darun and Narsus are walking on the street and noticed by Kiran viceroy's servant. Thus the viceroy, Perachos gets very nervious, because he didn't respond Arslan's announcement of fighting Lusitanians, and even took all the tax money away. Arslan and his friends are invited to the palace. Suddenly, a servant sends a message about the trading ships are attacked by pirates again. Then of course, another chance for Gieve, Darun and Farangese to show off. The captain, Curager, asks them who they are and realizes that Arslan needs help in the war, so he decides to gather up all his friends to help Arslan. However, Curager's friends want to have a deal that Arslan help them to kick out all the pirates then they will assist Arslan.

At night, Farangese finds Gieve in the garden. She tells him that viceroy, Perachos, is suspeciously rich. Thus Gieve decids to investigate the fact. Next day, captain Curager tells Perachos that he brings a "beautiful gift" for him.

Narsus meets his friend, Jekater. After so many years, Jekater's mind has changed a lot. He doesn't approve the idea of releasing slaves anymore which he supported very much before. Narsus leaves Jekater's house without making any agreement.

At night, the messenger tells Perachos that the "gift" is arrived...
