Comic Synopsis Volume 13

The rain and thunder hit the mountain hard when Arslan and his friends come to look for the holy sword. Finally they arrive to King Kie Hosro's grave. Arslan comes close up to the grave and prays to Kie Hosro to ask for the holy sword, Ruknbate. Suddenly the earthquake couses the holy sword to appeare in the disjunct ground.

Just as what Narsus expected, citizens in Yekbatarna start to yell for food and protest that Hilmes doesn't open the city gate.

Parsian year 321, August 25, the coronation is hold for Hilmes. Hilmes becomes the king of Pars and prepares to kill Lusitanian king, Innonkentis, as a sacrifice to god. The ceremony is stopped by Darun's break through. Parsian army led by Arslan is already in Yekbatarna because citizens cannot stand hunger, they opened the city gate to welcome Arslan's army who brings food in.

Arslan and Hilmes fight in the palace and Arslan knocks out Hilmes' sword surprisingly. Hilmes scorns Arslan. Andragoras comes at the same time and commands Arslan to give him the holy sword, but Arslan refuses. Just when everybody focuses on Andragoras and Arslan, Innokentis comes close to Andragoras' back but nobody notices. Innokentis drags Andragoras to the window and falls out. Both Innokentis and Andragors are dead under the tower.

At night, Parsian people are celebrating the relief and victory, but a python is found by Alfreed in the palace. It attacks Saam when he comes with Darun and Kibater. The snake is later killed by Farangese and Gieve and its head is chopped off by Arslan's holly sword. The dead python transforms into a headless body which looks likd a follower of snake king. At the same time, Hilmes rides the horse with princess Elina to leave Yekbatarna quietly. 10 months of turmoil is finally over. Next morning, Yetwal says farewell to Arslan.

Parsian year 321, September 29, Arslan is crowned as the new king of Pars.
