Epilogue

Kurama woke up with a sweats covering his face and a mild headache. He had dreamt about what happened after Hiei woke up. And it was most dreadful thing he could ever imagine. The red head shook himself to a more awake state. The clock on the wall read 5:00, which proved that he had been out for more than two hours. He couldn't say that the nap took away all his stress, but at least he felt a bit better.

The dream had been so real. Was it trying to tell him something? A warning probably? So he could take a more appropriate action? Kurama didn’t know. He didn’t want to know. What if it’s true? Would he really have the strength to face everything?

The Granting Stone. Yes, he had heard about it. In fact, he had got the scroll that was in his dream. He had hidden it somewhere safe in Makai just in case someday he might need it for himself. But he never thought that he might even think about using it now ....

No. Kurama shook his head. This couldn’t possibly be true. This just couldn’t be!

Surprisingly, he had lost the courage to face Hiei’s awakening ......

In his palm was still Hiei's hand, warm but lifeless. He clenched it to pressed it up to his face and closed his eyes, letting the sorrow subside.

"I love you Hiei. I ... " he breathed, "I am so lonely here without you. And I miss you ... so much ... "

Suddenly, a twitch was felt in his hand.

Kurama's eyes shot open and immediately stared at the hand in his grip.

Nothing.

Disappointment took over his mind followed by the familiar pain in his chest.

I will wait. No matter how long Hiei. And no matter what will happen, I promise we will face it together.

I promise.

I know I know! I know this story doesn’t really have an ending. I mean it leaves you to wonder if this whole thing is going to happen or not. That’s why the title is named "Fate’s Foreshadowing". It does have its purpose. But anyway. The reason why I left it this way is because there might be a very small chance that I will write a sequal to this story. But for now, this story is finished. Thank you guys for reading this story. ^_^ Thank you all. Hope you have enjoyed it. ^_^
