Sailor Star Healer, stage on!

Hi, and welcome to Planet Healer! I trust that you will enjoy your visit, and that you've already seen Planet Fighter and Planet Maker. (If not, I think you should.) I believe that I am most attracted to the smallest senshi of the bunch, even though I like all three. For some reason, Healer just does that. Maybe it's the way we made her personality, maybe it's her eyes...there's something about her that's special to me. I guess you can read on to find out what.

Her real name: Yaten Kou. (No problems with the translation. It's very simply-Light of the Night Sky. In my opinion, the characters for her name look the nicest.)
**What we think: Yayoi Kou Healer. (Well, now you know where my name comes from.^^)
Her birthday: February 8. (Personally, we still think she's the youngest...one year younger than her two friends. Yes, it's possible, because Stars can take place after February 8th and before May 30th, so she would be still be sixteen and Maker would also still be 16, right?^^)
**What we think: ^_^; December 12. (Hmm, two months apart this time. Anyone noticing a pattern here?)
Her horoscope: Aquarius.
**What we think: Sagittarius.
Her bloodtype: B (Did you know type B's and type A's aren't supposed to get along well? Hint: Seiya and Yaten ^_~)
Her favorite subject: Art.
Her least favorite: Physical Ed.
Her favorite food: Caviar.
**What we think her least favorite food is: Hamburgers. (We did this just so Fighter and Healer can argue more in our stories.^_^)
**What we think her favorite dessert is: Cream puffs. (I don't know...she looked like she was a person that would like cream puffs. ^_~)
Her hobby: Cameras and photography.
**What we think: (Well, we knew that, but we couldn't resist adding our own!) Sketching and any other kind of art.
Has trouble with: Physical Exertion. (I don't like this one...she doesn't seem to have a problem flashing around all over the place!)
**What we think: Hiding emotions when necessary. (Well, we think we doesn't like physical exertion, but she doesn't have trouble with it, so we added our own thing.^^;;;)
Favorite flower: People say it's a yellow rose because..oh you know the reason!
**What we think: We couldn't decide, so she has two. Sweetpeas and white lilies. (The former represents innocence, and the latter represents truth. Both are really pretty.)
**What we think her favorite gem is: Jade. (The clear green kind, not the milky white one or the blackish one or the dark green one...you get the picture. ^_^)
Her height: 5'1''
**What we think: Brace yourselves...5'7''...I know, I know!But we couldn't imagine her being the same size or even shorter than us, due to her long legs...^^

Healer's Physical Description
In both of our humble opinion, we think that Miss Healer here is the most attractive and feminine out of all three. She also has the most unusual hair color: a silvery white. (We like the sound of that better than just silver or just white, since it's kinda both.) Speaking of her hair, some people also say it's bluish-gray, plain gray, bluish-silver...and blond. I sincerely hope they meant blond as in fair-haired, and not as in yellow! (Yeuch, Healer with yellow hair!)
Anyway, her eyes are a pale green, but I've also heard emerald green (which is nice, but a little dark for her eyes), pea green, and get this-yellow (??!!). I'll...uh...stick with the pale green for now. Now the anime tends to make her hair a gray color, which I don't particularly like that much. However I have to say that out of all three StarLights, she is the one that the anime people draw the best. Healer is also the shortest, and probably got teased a lot because of it too, considering she had to raise her head to talk to nearly every single person.

Healer's Attack and Transformation
When Yaten's in trouble, or when someone else is, she yells out, "Healer Star Power, MAKE UP!" to become a sailor senshi. I would like to take this moment to say: the thing they use to change (star with wings) is called a changing star, and it's a necklace, not a pen. How do we know? Well, in the manga when the Three changed, you can see a chain at the star end of the transformation tool. The name we found out by looking at an ad for Sailor Moon toys. You know what her uniform looks like, so I won't bother. Healer's attack, "Star Sensitive Inferno", is my favorite out of all three. I love the way she says it! It gives me this tingle of excitement. I also thought she looked really pretty when she uses her attack.

Her Personality:

The Stereotypical Healer
A rude, obnoxious, and mean person. (I've heard this tons of times)She's worse than Rei when it comes to picking on people and never hesitates to say rude things to anyone. I also got the impression that people think she's weak, arrogant, and self-centered. (My gosh, they make Fighter seem so perfect and dump all bad qualities on her two friends!)
It's a shame that there are people like her because "she's a b*tch", since she's not.^^; As some Yaten fans realize, there's a tender side underneath all of this seeming callousness and bluntness. For instance, they point out that she loves cats, she's had an awfully tough time ever since Galaxia destroyed her planet, and they show that she's a person with a really big heart who strives to protect the people she loves.

Another Side
Well, she still has an attitude--Healer wouldn't be Healer without it-- but it's more like the manga. (In the comics, Healer was simply sarcastic and spoke what she thought. She was never rude to any of the inner or outer senshi, and she was very nice to Sailor Moon, in fact. It was the regular senshi that got all suspicious and paranoid.) We do not think she would act as horribly as she sometimes did in the anime. (Even though you must admit, everytime she did so it was either for Seiya or the Princess.) In addition, Healer is a very loyal individual and respects the words of his friends. (This idea came from the episode where everyone winds up at Usagi's house: Taiki tells him to ignore Haruka's veiled insults, and he sits back down, despite being unhappy about what the other said...)

Healer is, as always, sarcastic and blunt in my stories, but I find that she is soft-hearted and gentle. She's the type who says what she thinks...a little at the expense of others, but that doesn't mean she's cruel. Instead, think of her as a person who sees things clearly (she's artistic, after all), and expresses those things in the best way she can. We truly believe she is an empath (therefore able to note the brightness of stars), and therefore sensitive to other people's feelings. She hates sports because it makes her hot and sweaty (and Healer finds image important), however she is not a bad basketball player. (Notice the conversation between the inners in that softball episode, where Makoto said that Yaten had signed up to play basketball. And let's face it. If you're an idol and you know everyone's going to be watching and testing you, wouldn't you pick a sport that you'd be good at?) Healer is utterly unable to hide her emotions, they spill out of her like a cascade, so you can basically read her like a book. It seems to me that she and Fighter will clash often (in personality), and so they're always arguing. But being friends, they never mean what they say, and the so-called fight ends with lots of light-hearted laughs.***

I would like to take this moment to say that in the manga, Yaten did not tell Michiru that lipstick looked bad on her, she (Uh..it was a he) said that the color of that particular lipstick did. Yaten most certainly did not boast that he was a model and therefore knew more about cosmetics. His fans were clammering for him to teach them since they knew he was a model. (BTW, he was smiling to the fans and agreeing to teach them too.) Michiru was angry because Yaten wounded her pride, since she thought she was pretty good with cosmetics too. (Watching all those fans going after him didn't make the situation better.)^_^
