Hiei's Problem
A Fanfic by Sandy Youko
Part IV - A Friendly Advice
Hiei sighed deeply, feeling bored. He squirmed a little, trying to pull back from the youko's careful but fierce grip. He couldn't retreat. The clinging was too tight, as Kurama proceed with his long, insistent draw, pull and suck.
Yet in vain.
Hiei propped on an elbow, watching his partner. He reached out below and caressed his silvery head slowly.
"Enough playing, Kurama. I'm starting to feel like a melted popsicle..."
Kurama stopped, letting Hiei's frail flesh slip off his lips, staring at his lover, with the most frustrated expression.
"Let me try some more... I think it's hardening now..."
"It's just your tongue hardening with calluses! We've been like this for hours!"
"I don't mind... Lie down!" Kurama commanded, briskly, his broad palm pushing Hiei's chest back, pinning him down to the hard cave's floor, as he went down on the Youkai once more.
This time, however, Kurama's tongue dashed out to reach a very sensitive spot further down than before. The tip of the Youko's wet, velvet tongue slipped on Hiei's anus, causing the youkai's body to jerk at the exciting surprise.
However, Hiei protested, uttering a loud, angry "No!", as he used all his strenght to wince the youko's touch. That was just out of question! He confronted Kurama hardly, who just showed him Shuuichi's trade mark puppy-eyes look.
"Hiei... Let me do it to you, then... Please..."
Hiei frowned.
"Are out of your mind, youko? Look at you! Look at me! What do you want? Pierce me into halves?
"I'm gonna be careful.. I'm going to the Ningenkai to get some KY! It will make it smooth and easy..." And Kurama smiled slyly at his proposition.
"Hn... I remember your smooth and easy very well... "Hiei added, recalling his first "bottom line" experience with Kurama. He had enjoyed it a lot in the end, it was true; but getting used to the new practice had taken him time. Imagine if he allowed that bulky youko to drive him! He'd be sore for weeks! Therefore, he pulled himself backwards a little more. " No. I don't want it. Not with you like this."
"Won't you fox-kiss me, then?" Kurama continued, expectantly, stroking Hiei's flat and muscular abdomen with both hands, trying to bring him closer once more.
"No."
"Why?"
"I've said it: I don't want it."
"Come rub me, then..."
"I don't feel like doing it now."
"Why? I need some release, Hiei. Please?" Kurama insisted, kneeling in between Hiei's thighs, taking such a position as to make possible for the Fire Youkai to witness all his extended and taut "need".
Hiei gulped, and rolled his eyes to the side, unwilling to let Kurama perceive the true reason beneath his refusal; rejection for the Youko aspect.
"I'm not used to you like this. I feel... Embarassed..."
Kurama gazed Hiei, who avoided meeting eyes, for a long time. Then Kurama finally started to understand why they haven't even exchanged kisses and cuddling as often as they've always done before. A sudden, deep pain broke within his chest, and he let his beautiful face turn to the floor, as the silvery mane covered his stricken profile.
"You love Shuuichi; not me."
Hiei turned to face the Youko, willing to say something, to excuse himself... He saw Kurama withdrawing from him, but was fast enough to reach out, grabbing his cold, long-nailed youko hand.
"I love you. But you're so different like this... I can't..."
"This aspect disgusts you, I know. Well Hiei, this is my true self. Shuuichi is just a temporary visage." Kurama added, interrupting his lover, with a briskly voice and a bitter half-smile." My tail, my ears, my built... Ah! Let's not forget my musky scent! It's all too different from rose-scented, delicate Shuuichi Minamino, hn? Damn! I should have realized before you couldn't handle a youko; it would have spared me a lot of saliva!"
"I just need time, kitsune."
"Then, I'm gonna give you time."
Kurama stood up, starting to dress his gauzy white attire very slowly, his back turned to the Fire Demon, showily. Finished, he walked away, leaving the small cave, bearing neither a word, nor a look behind.
Hiei wached his silvery companion leave, and yet could not make any attempt, any gesture to detain him. He was too confused.
The only thing he knew was he had done it, as always... He was reaching an unwanted expertise - The stony art of being mean and insensitive towards the one he loved the most in all worlds.
"Shimatta!", Hiei roared, angered with his own, stupid behavior.

The youko sat for a long time at the edge of a cliff, watching the horizon, healed of all his physical wounds. He had spent the dawn there, blankly admiring Makai's skies and landscape, sighing and sniffling his crying.
Hiei had been the first lover he has ever possessed who did not enjoy his Youko aspect. And Hiei was just the partner he had loved the most in all his long centuries of life.
The youko rubbed the back of his hand on his eyes, wiping the tears away, as he felt a familiar ki coming near.
"Hello, Yomi. How are things going?" Kurama spoke, softly, although not turning his head to face his old times'friend, unmoving, totally taken by grief. "How's your son?"
Kurama kept looking to the horizon, feeling the tall presence come towards to sit right beside him.
"Everything is just fine. Admiring the view, Kurama?"
"Yes... Hn, well, not exactly..."
"Don't be embarassed by my blindness. I assure you I can perceive far more of what's around me than you could imagine." And Yomi shifted a little, being as close to his former associate as possible without letting their shoulders and thighs touch.
"I've sensed your presence, and had to come. To be this close to your youko aspect reminds me of the old times..." Yomi smiled, softly, his closed eyes contributing much to the extremely appeased expression on his face
"I was supposed to be on vacation, having lots of fun with my half-koorime. But things didn't go as planned."
"I've heard about the mess you made at Mukuro's castle. Very good move. A pity you could not put her to death in the end."
"I was just too mad at her. I could not help."
"Too jealous of your pretty dragon-boy, weren't you?"
Kurama breathed in longly, keeping himself in sorrowful silence.
"I guess it's the rarest phenomenum ever - a hot youko like you left alone, sobbing and wailing in the middle of Makai. What's wrong with you and Hiei?"
Kurama stared his old friend, a little comforted by the closeness of a familiar voice. Yomi had smartly noticed his crying. Although the Youkai could not see perceive the red marks on his eyes,or the damp trails on his cheeks, he could grasp the salty scent of tears, and feel the congested hesitation on his voice.
"I'm just thinking about life. Thinking how hard it is not to be loved..."
"Youko Kurama not being loved? Nonsense... Is Hiei rejecting you?"
"He's repelling my Youko aspect."
"You two haven't estranged again, have you?"
Kurama's eyes were down cast, as his pale figure seeming gloomer, as he was stricken with sadness. His eyes seemed to have turned to a dim, faint hazel, not shining gold anymore.
"I guess so... He doesn't want to lay with me anymore as long as I keep this form."
Yomi shook his head, in a slow disapproval. They were behaving like silly, immature boys; maily Kurama, who must have had some sense into his mind after such long existence. The couple was just wasting precious time over trivialities...
"Go and take him..." He spoke, with his usual calm, sultry tone.
Kurama stared at Yomi open-mouthed, not quite believing what he had just heard.
"What do you mean, Yomi? That I should force him?"
"Go to him, grab him, force him to accept you. This is the Youko way."
"Nani?"
"Oh, Kurama, are you really that naive now? Those years as Ningen made you forget your past experience? Haven't you ever noticed? Your little youkai is the type that loves to be forced, or even given a good hiding once in a while..."
Kurama brought his tail to his own lap, and started stroking the soft fur, thoughtfully, for a while.
"In fact, Yomi, Hiei really enjoys some wild, rough games now and then... "
"See? Such an easy solution after all."
"But don't you think I could hurt him? He's so delicate and small..."
Yomi laughed loudly.
"Mukuro's Heir? Delicate and small? Oh, cut that crap, Kurama! He's just feigning to be delicate. And I'm sure he will have no complaints on size difference, as soon as he gets the taste of it."
"But it's not fair to have my pleasure from him, and let him hanging."
"Take him, and you'll end up with a big surprise in your hands. It's a method which never fails."
"I know, but..."
"This is the problem with you... You act as a Ningen; a Youko would never hesitate like that..."
---------------------------------------
Hiei almost backed the way up as he saw them.
Yomi and Kurama, almost hand in hand, romantically enjoying the sunrise. He had been observing it all, from the top of a tree. And all the time his chest ached with both resent and remorse. He could not hear any of what was said, but he knew they were talking about him.
He waited patiently, until Yomi was gone, every muscle in his small body tensing whenever Kurama inclined his body somehow closer to Yomi's as they spoke. He would madly grind his teeth whenever their arms seemed to rub, one on the other, lightly, brieflly, as they shifted or fidgeted. Jealous, Hiei was prepared hit the road and leave the youko alone for ever in case he watched the slightest fondle, the naivest patting, or even at the most brotherly caress between the two of them. He loved Kurama, but he would never, ever forgive him for that.
Somehow, Yomi and Kurama had not touched one another; not a minimum, not for the shortest instant...
And as Yomi left, Hiei sighed in deeply, his chest suddenly relieved from the aching pressure. Watching Yomi and Kurama together was something which annoyed him too much.
Watching them, experiencing the painful suspense, the dreadful doubt, and the blissful release as Kurama was left alone once more, The Fire Youkai decided he would not never let Kurama walk away from his side again, no matter the circunstances.
Fox, Ningen, Youko... K'so! Why deny? He loved him under any aspect!
Hiei did the same as Yomi, approaching in silence, sitting right beside Kurama, close, but not touching.
"Were you alone here all the time?" Hiei asked, suspiciously.
Kurama frowned at Hiei's question. The fox knew Hiei was just testing him.
"Yomi came to talk to me a little."
"Hn."
Silence again. They didn't face one another, both pretending to stare the dusky horizon, when they were not minding the view at all.
"Is it really only ears and horns that he's got tripled?"
The youko smiled at Hiei's frowning expression.
"Yes, Hiei. Only ears and horns...What do you think?"
"That it is an uneven competition."
Kurama gazed fondly at his exquisite youkai, letting his arm brush on Hiei's shoulder, in a soft, light stroke.
"There is no competition, Hiei. I'm all yours, even though you don't want me anymore."
Hiei's eyes were gloomily turned down. He came closer, sliding his arm around Kurama's waist.
"I still want you Kurama. I couldn't live a single day without you."
Kurama reached behind his silvery mane, then whispering Hiei's name. When the Youkai faced his partner, Kurama brought a rose to view. A simple, scentless red rose, with smaller petals, not wearing the velvet luster of the rich, perfumed ones was used to receive to offer his lover. But it was also as beautiful as the others. It was just... different...
"It's a wild rose. It's different from the ones my Shuuichi aspect used to give you. But you can keep it with you if you like."
Hiei felt something stuck in his throat, not letting him swallow, not even letting him breathe properly. And as he reached out for the rose, he caressed Kurama's hand with his fingers, grabbing the small, pretty token, carefully sticking to his belts.
"I'd be an idiot if I refused your wild rose, Kurama."
Kurama smiled softly, and for an instant Hiei imagined to see those beautiful lips wearing the same kind of hesitating, shy smile he had seem uncountable times on Shuuichi's face. Hiei just moved his body towards his lover's, his hands stroking the smooth, silvery hair, as they kissed.
