This series was based on a novel written by Gu Long. Mieu Kieu Vi and Jamie Thich My Tran had cameo roles as the parents of Tony Luong and Ngo Dai Dung. This was Jamie's last series before she left for ATV. There was a 70's version (Tuyet The Song Hung) starring Cecelia Wong (Huynh Hanh Tu),Sak Sel(Thach Tu), and Idy Chan (Tran Ngoc Lien).
