Pui San's real name is Chan Kit Ying. She is a really admirable actress. She has a positive image, where she assures others that her performance will surely satisfy everyone. Pui San began acting at a very young age, around 15 or 16 years old. She typically played the mature woman type, which she is really great at. Pui San began acting with ATV, where she met her future husband, Kowk Fung. They soon married in the late 70's. In the late 70's and 80's, they both worked for TVB. Pui San has since retired from show business since 1993, however her husband is still with TVB. Pui San is keeping her busy by running a practice in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
