Where is Cora Dickson?

As of January 2009, I call the Rock Hall, Maryland my home. It's located on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. I live there with my husband and three rabbits. I still commute to Washington DC four days a week.
Career Update
After completing the Dual Master's Degree Program of American University/Ritsumeikan University in 1999, I started working full-time in Kyoto for the Planning Division of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), a new university which opened in April 2000 in Beppu City, Oita-ken, on the southern island of Kyushu. I lived in Oita for about a year, then I decided to move back to the USA for personal reasons.
After job searching and soul searching, my career took a new twist and now I work for the Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration. First I worked for Market Access and Compliance, Office of Japan for three and a half years. Since January 2005, I work for Manufacturing and Services, Office of Technology and Electronic Commerce. Basically I started out as a country specialist, then switched to being an industry specialist.
Research Update
The English version of the thesis submitted in January 1999 to Ritsumeikan University is here. However, the research project submitted in August 1999 to American University is slightly different and a summary will hopefully be posted someday.
