There have been rumours that Noriko has split from her long-time boyfriend Shinji Najima, however I have found no real evidence for this. Other rumours suggest that the two will get married in March next year. I'll keep you all posted as I get the latest gossip! I'll also be putting up a page detailing Noriko's 4 year relationship with Shinji sometime soon!

Noriko arrived in Hong Kong at about 9:30pm on the 17th of October. She was greeted by over 1000 fans. She was so shocked by the turnout that she was unable to give a full press conference. Pictures of her performance can be found at Pure Noriko Sakai.

Noriko will be in Hong Kong from the 17th to 19th of October as a guest of ATV.  She will perform during the 1997 Miss Asia Pageant.  She will also be promoting her new single "Namida Iro".

Noriko is working on a new drama for TBS in which she will play the role of a piano teacher.  It should start screening in Japan during January 98.

On September 26th, Noriko performed in Shanghai during a program called "Dream Symphony"

Noriko released her new single "Namida Iro" (Tear Colour) on the 24th of July.  Included in the single was a song called "Chou Chou" (Butterfly).
