He's the reason I found out about X-Japan or partly the reason. I was looking for sites on Seo Taiji and came across X and saw the lovely pic of Yoshiki (see his profile page). Makes sense because Seo Taiji is a fan of X-Japan. Probably where he got the name from since Taiji is definitely not Korean. And he played bass like Sawada. To avoid confusion I usually call this Taiji-Sawada and the Korean one plain Taiji.
I don't know why Sawada didn't stay with X. Don't know if he was kicked out or he left voluntarily. Read too many variations to know which is the truth so I'll leave this subject alone.
All I know is he did start his own band shortly after leaving. But like many other things I don't know much about the history of this man. I have no idea how his band faired or anything. Being a new fan of X-Japan I'm used to seeing Heath so it's kind of strange for me to form any sort of opinion on the former bassist. We'll leave it at that.
