One of the more flamboyant members of X-Japan. Hide joined the group after Yoshiki and Toshi. His trademark is his wildly colored Fushi pink hair! Who could forget? His personality is so dynamic! You cannot miss him onstage.
He had a temper. His clothes I think were hideous. *laughs* Don't get me wrong hide fans. I love hide-san and miss him. It's just I would neve wear such loud clothes..basic black for this goth chik!
Of all the members, hide seemed to be the most successful. He produced quite a few albums in a short time. Had his own band, Spread Beaver. Still trying to figure out that name 0_o Just like hide! You can't figure it out. And no one truly knows nor will we ever know what was going through his mind early May 2, 1998. And a seemingly good career going. All we know is the wonderful music he left for us to remember him by and memories..so many. He took his life and was pronounced dead at about 9am that morning.
At first no one could believe it! Why?! No answers...thousands grieved for him. Did he know how much he was loved and admired. It was completely shocking to find out even a few months after it had happened. I can't imagine the pain those closest to him must've felt. Gawd! Even now as I'm typing this I have to hold back tears. The anniversary of his passing was only a few days ago.
To know him is to love him...
