Rules:

Dark spirits are the physical embodiment of all of the emotions and mental attributes that Goblins hold dear. The heightened emotional states present on a battlefield can be channeled by a goblin unit, and brought to life in the form of one or more Dark Spirits.

Dark Spirits are purchased in place of a Warp Magic spell for a unit. They are not set up at the beginning of the game, but are summoned when certain requirements have been met. These requirements vary, depending on the type of spirit purchased. When these requirements are met, the summoned spirit(s) are placed within 6" of the summoning unit, on their following magic phase.

Hate:
(Rage? Fury? Ire? Wrath?)

Summoning: Summoned after 5 casualties have been caused TO the summoning unit.

Mist of Rage: The Hate spirit must always move at least half its movement rate towards the nearest enemy, and must charge if within range. The nearest enemy unit or individual at the beginning of the movement phase must move at least half of ifs move toward the Hate spirit

Appearance: Hate spirits most frequently appear as a thin flame covered humanoid.

Pain:
(Suffering? Agony?)

Summoning: Summoned after 5 casualties have been caused BY the summoning unit. (No, you may not kill your own troops.)

Crippling Agony: All attacks made by a unit in contact with a Pain spirit are at -2 BF.

Appearance: A Pain spirit appears as a tall (8 - 10 foot) roughly humanoid cloud of darkness. Spike like tendrils continuously pulse, protrude and retract from its body.

Gloom:
(Despair?)

Summoning: Summoned when a unit (friend or foe) within 8" flees or is destroyed. Note: this includes the summoning unit itself.

Cloud of Doom: Nominate one unit within 12". That unit may not move towards any enemy units unless it first passes a DIS test.

Fly: 10"

Appearance: Gloom spirits take the form of a dark, shimmering, winged butterfly/moth that seems to melt to intangibility.

Terror:
(Fear? Dread?)

Summoning: Summoned when an enemy unit in close combat with the summoning unit flees.

Wall of Fear: Enemy units within 3" of the Terror spirit are -2 to all DIS tests. Any unit wishing to engage the Terror spirit must first make a DIS test at -2 (not cumulative).

Appearance: A swirling cloud of darkness.
