Angelic
Host
The Angelic Host are earthly
incarnations of the servants of god(s).
Their appearance on the
battlefield is brought about through strict
religious ceremony, and
hours of preparation and prayer. Even then,
divine intervention is a
matter beyond the comprehension of mortals,
and the arrival of heavenly
assistance is never guarenteed.
The appearance of the Angelic
Host varies, and is frequently
influenced by the attitudes
of those seeking aid. Their powers,
however, remain unaffected.
Most frequently their form is that of a
tall, beatifull humanoid,
with feathered wings. Equipment varies with
appearance, but usually
consists of a gleaming sword or spear,
possibly with a polished
shield and/or breastplate.

Fly: The Angelic Host may
fly up to 16 inches durring the movement
phase, at high or low altitude.
Summoning: There may never
be more than one Angelic Host in and army.
The Angelic Host does not
start on the table. Instead, one must roll
for its arrival durring
the magic phase. A roll of 10 is needed in
the first turn. Each turn
thereafter, add +1 to the roll. This is
cumulative, so a roll of
9 is needed in turn 2, a roll of 8 in turn
3, etc. If the opponent
is fielding a Bane or Necromancer army. Only
the Principate (except Elementalists),
Royal Elves, and Taurans may
take the Angelic Host.
(DIscussion is underway to
determine the best way to bring them on the table... as in the actual mechanics
of sort of semi-randomly having them drop down onto the table. They will
count as flying at high level when they arrive.)
