Giant Bat Riders

In the southern portion of the Worlds Edge mountains, rumors persist of giant bats that leave their caves at night to hunt. There are those who will tell you that they are capable of carrying off a full gorwn dwarf! One goblin warlord - sick of being beaten to battles and loot by his wolf mounted rivals - went off in search of bats to tame. Unfortunately, the bats proved rather fickle, difficult to train, and rather fond of throwing their riders. However, those goblins who survived now had the edge on the competition...

Bombs: The benefits of aerial attacks were not lost on the goblins. They started off dropping rocks on the enemy, but before long, began devising more fiendish projectiles. Bombs are handled as a shooting attack, but occur in the movement phase. The bat rider must fly in a straight line, and may elect to drop bombs anywhere along its path. Nominate a target point. Roll a die. This is the number of inches further along the flight path, where the bombs actually land. Use the small template. Anyone fully under the template takes a S3 hit. Figures partially under are hit on a roll of 4+. If the template ends up touching the bat rider, then he is hit, as above.
