Final Desired Results

1. Open a photo of your choice, black and white or colour photo is entirely up to you , like so:
    
   
   
2. Filter > Sketch > Halftone Pattern...
   Size : 1
   Contrast : 7
   Pattern Type :  Line
   
   
   

3. Done! That was real easy.
   Play around with the Contrast value in the Halftone Pattern properties box. Different values produce increase/decrease original photo quality. Use the Sharper filter if things get too blur. Keep experimenting!
