GREAT EXPECTATIONS
Contrary to the many bad reviews I've read on the internet about this film, I think that it is a great movie and I really enjoyed it. The original Charles Dickens classic has been invigorated by an MTV spin, and the setting and characters changed to update the story to 90s. 

The movie was well-filmed and the lush images and the soft-lighting all add to the eroticism of the entire film. The chemistry between the leads Gwyneth Paltrow and Ethan Hawke is great too. Overall, this is a very romantic, sexy and highly enjoyable movie.
