A Fitting End

Disclaimer- I do not own the characters of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They belong to 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, and Mutant Enemy. I am using them without permission, however I am not making any money off them so please do not sue me.

Author's Notes- This is my reaction to the Parker spoilers, I finally couldn’t handle it any more. I snapped. I had to do this, I had to write a story where he got what he deserved. This is for all my fellow B/A Extremists and anyone who hates what they’ve been hearing about Parker, especially Serena. I hope you like this, this is what *I* think he deserves. Enjoy.

Feedback- Yes, please! I love it, and I always love to hear what people
think.

Distribution- Buffy's Passion, Daydreams of BtVS, and Slay This! have permission, everyone else just ask me first. I'll almost always say yes.

Rating- TV-14

Classification: Spike coolness, Parker bashing.

Spoilers- Rumours for Season Four.

Buffy and Willow walked into the campus bar together, when Buffy suddenly saw Parker. He was leaning against the wall, watching the band on the stage.

“Willow, I’ll see you later. Okay?”

Willow nodded, and smiled as Buffy walked over to Parker.

She was glad that Buffy was getting over Angel, even if Parker Finch wasn’t the guy she’d have chosen. Even his name wasn’t a name.

Parker was a last name, and Finch was a bird. At least Angel was a beautiful name, almost angelic, but Parker. Ick. Oh, well, at least Buffy was happy.

Buffy approached Parker, a big smile on her face. “Parker! Hi.” Buffy said happily,

Parker looked past her. “Buffy. Hi.” Then he stood up. “Excuse me.”

She grabbed his arm. “Where are you going?” She asked, slightly hurt.

“Away.”

“Don’t you want to see me?” She asked with a hurt expression.

“Why?” He asked cruelly. “I’ve already gotten what I wanted, why would I stick around?”

Buffy felt as if he had punched her in the stomach. “It meant nothing to you?”

Parker laughed. “Well, it meant *something*. But it was no big deal, it wasn’t like I haven’t been there before.”

Buffy paused, Angelus had said exactly the same thing. How similar both times had been, at least the after part.

The acts couldn’t have been different, one had been an act of lust, the other an act of the truest and most perfect love. She had loved Angel, still did, but Parker, she hadn't known him.

It had just been a rebound thing, but it still hurt.

“It’s not like it was your first time either.” Parker said cruelly, Buffy looked down at the ground.

“No it wasn’t.” She said softly, remembering Angel and how wonderful being with him had been.

She had loved him completely.

Parker looked bored, and started to leave. “See? It’s no biggy. I’ll see you around.”

Buffy watched him go, and wondered what she had ever seen in him. How could she have slept with him?

She was such a fool.

Spike followed the boy out of the club, he had heard everything. He had come there to feed, and feed he would.

He’d kill the bastard that had taken Angelus’ girl and then threw her away like yesterdays news paper. He didn’t know why he was so outraged, but he was.

Actually he did know, he might not like them but Angel and the slayer were soul mates. They belonged together, and he would do whatever he could to keep the together. He wanted true love to conquer all, now that he had lost Dru.

She had left him for good, they had parted ways bitterly. He had finally realised that it would never be the same between them, hadn’t been since Angelus had come back.

Well, if he couldn't have Dru he would make sure Angelus kept his slayer. Somebody deserved to be happy and he would make sure they were.

First he would kill this little creep you thought he could do that to Buffy.

“Hi mate. Heard you talking to that girl in there, weren't you a little cruel?” Spike asked, coming up beside Parker.

Parker grinned. “I don't think so. I mean that’s all chicks are good for anyway, right?”

Spike was outraged. How dare he talk about women like that! Didn’t his parents teach him that women must be respected?! What a bloody wanker!

“Not right.” Spike said, slipping into his game face. He grabbed Parker. “In fact you’re so very wrong. How dare you treat her like that?”

He didn’t give Parker a chance to answer, he just bit down on him and when he was finished threw him on the ground. He heard someone clap and looked up to see Buffy there.

“Are you going to stake me now?” He asked, more than slightly afraid.

“No. I’m glad, why would I kill you for killing that jerk?” She asked with a grin.

Spike laughed, and Buffy joined him.

“Thanks Spike.” She said, walking right past Parker Finch’s body. She didn’t even glance at him, but she did smile at Spike.

He watched her go, and then kicked the dead body before going back to his apartment. He was pleased with himself, the creep had deserved to die.

How dare he try to treat her like that? Death had been good to him, he should have tortured him.

Oh, well. It was too late now.
