She's Cha Cha's alter ego (second self) on her fight against Daimaru. Her weapons are the Magical Selene Arrow, the Phoenix Sword, and the Bird Shield.
She was one of the earlier rulers of the Magical Land. In the past she and seven chosen warriors destroyed Daimaru (Daimou) and all his minions. She ruled the kingdom once again peacefully. After she died, the people called her a goddess. But after many years, Daimaru was free again. He sacked the kingdom and turned everyone, including the King and the Queen, into stone. Thier daughter was entrusted to Sarabee (Seravy), then a young warrior. Ten years on, the girl was now Cha Cha. Sarabee gave her powers to call Princess Joan (as Cha Cha's alter ego) to fight Daimaru's minions. Once again, to regain the peacefulness in the kingdom, Princess Joan (Cha Cha), together with Sarabee, Leeja (Riiya), Shiné (Shiine), Dorothy, Yakko, Maureen (Marin), and Suzu (Orin) as the seven chosen warriors, fought and succeed against Daimaru on all costs. But that does not end there. Other minions of Daimaru still fought her until episode 56 where the very last of his minions was destroyed. Then Cha Cha had to give her alter ego up to seal the opening which the source of all evil. She was never called since then.
