THE EX-GIRLFRIEND -- Episode 6 (01/23/91)

George obsesses over how to break up with his girlfriend, Marlene. After dispensing his sage advice on the topic, Jerry finds himself in a similar position with the same woman.

THE PONY REMARK -- Episode 7 (01/30/91)

At the 50th wedding anniversary of friends of his parents, Jerry mentions in conversation that he has always resented people who had ponies as pets in their childhood. An elderly woman at the party overhears Jerry's remark and becomes very upset and insulted. Apparently, as a poor child growing up in Poland, this woman had a pet pony that she loved dearly. When his lady dies the next day, Jerry feels responsible. Could he have killed her?

Note: Jerry's father, (Barney Martin) and Uncle Leo, (Len Lesser) make their first appearances.

THE JACKET -- Episode 8 (02/06/91)

While out shopping with Elaine, Jerry discovers a suede jacket that he thinks is beautiful. In fact, it's the most beautiful, best fitting, absolutely coolest jacket in the world - and it fits Jerry perfectly. Unfortunately, the jacket is very expensive. Jerry buys the jacket in time to wear it out to dinner with Elaine's intimidating novelist-father.

Note: For the first time, we get some details about Elaine, including her family, hometown, and job.

THE PHONE MESSAGE -- Episode 9 (02/13/91)

Regretting having left nasty messages on a girlfriend's answering machine, George enlists Jerry's help in getting to the machine to erase the messages before the girlfriend is able to hear them. Meanwhile, Jerry tries to get past the fact that a woman he's dating likes a TV commercial that he hates.

THE APARTMENT -- Episode 10 (04/04/91)

When an apartment in Jerry's building becomes vacant, Jerry encourages Elaine to apply for tenancy but, after further consideration, ends up regretting his proposal.

THE STATUE -- Episode 11 (04/11/91)

A Norwegian girlfriend of Elaine's has a boyfriend who is working his way through college by cleaning people's homes. At Elaine's urging, Jerry hires this fellow only to discover that the guy apparently took the opportunity to steal a statue from Jerry's apartment. How should Jerry handle the situation? He and George have very different ideas.

THE REVENGE -- Episode 12 (04/18/91)

George gets fed up and quits his realty job. Then, with Jerry and Elaine's help, George seeks revenge on his boss for not rehiring him. Meanwhile, Kramer helps Jerry seek revenge on a laundromat owner for being irresponsible with Jerry's wash.

THE DEAL -- Episode 14 (05/02/91)

Jerry and Elaine re-consummate their intimacy with the mutually accepted proviso that they will not expect anything more of one another than they did when they were 'just friends.' This proves impossible so they are left choosing between being 'just friends' and 'a couple.'

Kramer convinces Jerry to illegally procure cable television reception; unfortunately, the crooked cable guy shows up for the installation on the same day that Jerry has given use of his apartment to Elaine (to hold a baby shower for a friend of hers).
