"Paul hold the car. I'll be back in ten minutes,"She said.

Ally walked into the office."Hi, I'm Miss McComb, Mr. Jacks assistant. We have a meeting with Mr. Walker I assume Mr. Jacks is inside already. "

"I'll buzz Mr. Walker and let him know you are here."The secretary said.

"That was my secretary, It seems that your assistant is outside waiting to join us,"Richard said.

"What?"Jax said stunned. What in tarnation is V. doing here he thought. I'll kill her. Jax turned around and scowled at the door. The door opened and his jaw dropped. It was Ally.

"Well hello there daddy dearest,"She said.

Richard quickly dropped his portfolio and walked up to Ally and gave her a big hug."Allison McComb what are you doing here? How are you sweetie. Jax why didn't you tell me Ally was your assistant?"

Jax looked from Ally to Richard he didn't know what to say.

"Actually Mr. W., I'm not his assistant. I'm his girlfriend. I didn't realize until now that Jasp was dealing with you. I thought he was buying a cruise ship. When I saw the sign I had to come in and say hi. I knew you'd never forgive me if I didn't,"She explained.

"You're right young lady. You look wonderful. Sit down and tell me what you are up to."Richard said.

Ally sat down beside a still bewildered Jax and held his hand. "I'm still managing the agency, still living in the same brownstone in the village. I'm spending all of my free time with Jax. I talked to Becky last week. She's trying to convince me to go down to the Vineyards before they close the house up. I'm here for my cousin Liz's wedding on Saturday. That's about it. How's Mrs. W. doing?"

"She is doing well thank you. Tara can't wait for me to sell. She wants to go on a month long holiday. Good thing I know a good travel agent. Tell me Ally, do you trust Mr. Jacks?"

Ally looked over at Jax and squeezed his hand."With my heart and my life. He's never made me a promise that he didn't keep,"She replied confidently.

"Well then, based on Ally's recommendation I've changed my mind Mr. Jacks. I will sell to you based on your first offer. Have the contracts drawn up and I'll sign them."

"A wise move Mr. W. You won't be sorry,"Ally said.

"Are the two of you free Monday evening? I know Tara would love to see you sweetie."Richard asked.

Jax finally regained his composure. He had no idea what just happened but he owed Ally big time. "We would be happy to join you for dinner Richard. Thank you."

"Look at the time. I have to run Liz is waiting for me. See you on Monday Mr. W. and I'll see you at the restaurant later."She kissed both men and headed for the door.

"Wait Ally, Jax and I are done. He can leave with you now."Richard said.

"Thank you again Richard I'll have the contracts sent to you tomorrow,"Jax said.

He waited until they left the building, Jax grabbed Ally and spun her around several times and gave her a huge long romantic kiss. "I don't know what the hell happened in there but thanks. Richard had just told me he wasn't selling when you walked in."

Ally laughed,"Get that cute butt of yours into the limo and I'll tell you. Liz hates to be kept waiting."

She told Jax that Richard was her Harvard roommates father. "Becky and I roomed together for four years. I spent 2 winter breaks with her family in Switzerland and went to Barbados every spring break with them. Becky is one of my dearest friends. She lives in New Haven with her husband Tom. You'll meet them in October, Tom always throws Becky a big party, for her birthday at the Rainbow room. That is if you will go with me?"

"I'd go to the ends of the earth with you. Do you realize that you just saved me about 10 million dollars and a months work? I owe you big time. I'll have to find some way to thank you."

"Jasp just kiss me and we are even."She sighed.

Jax gave her ten long deep, passionate kisses. One for each million he told her. They picked up Liz and she read them the riot act for being 40 minutes late. Jax insisted they go to Spago's as his treat. They were eating dessert when Liz's jaw dropped and she turned white as a ghost.

"What's wrong Liz?"Ally asked slightly worried.

"I, I, over, sit, M.. M.. Mel"She whispered.

"What?"They said together.

Liz took a deep breath and whispered again,"Mel Gibson just walked in and sat over there."

"Really that's neat."Ally said and kissed Jax's hand.

Jax couldn't believe she didn't turn around to look. He looked.

"That's it Al? You didn't even look. Since when did you stop loving Mel?"Liz asked.

"I still love Mel Liz, but last time I checked he was happily married with tons of kids. Why waste my time pining away over someone who's taken when I have my own Aussie hunk sitting across from me. Besides I'm not stupid, Jax is richer,"She laughed

Jax smiled and kissed Ally's hand. "Well Liz take a deep breath. He is heading over this way."

"Hello Jax, I haven't seen you in a long time. How are you doing? Will I be able to count on you again this year?"Mel said.

"It's been almost a year. I'm fine Mel, how are you and the family doing? Yes you can count on getting another large cheque from me but I'm no longer available for the auction block. I've been permanently taken. Allow me to introduce you to the love of my life Ally McComb and her cousin Liz McComb."Jax said.

"Always delighted to met beautiful women. Hello Ally, hello Liz, nice to met you."Mel said and smiled smoothly.

"Pleasure to met you Mr. Gibson"Ally said.

"Please call me Mel Ally. Mr. Gibson is my father."He laughed.

"Nice to met you Mel. I think you are wonderfully talented"Liz managed to say.

"Thank you Liz. So what are you doing here Jax?"Mel asked.

"Celebrating. Ally just saved a deal for me and Liz is getting married on Saturday."

"Well then let me be the first to kiss the bride. "Mel joked and kissed Liz on the cheek.

Liz looked like she had died and gone to heaven.

"I'll leave you to finish your dessert. Take care Jax. Pleasure to met you ladies. You're a lucky man Jax don't let her get away from you. Congratulations Liz have a wonderful day."Mel said and went back to his seat.

Liz turned red."I'm never going to wash my cheek again"Liz sighed

Ally and Jax laughed at her.

"How do you know Mel, Jax?"Liz demanded.

" A year and a half ago, I was at a party and someone introduced us. We started talking about Australia and his ranch. It wasn't a long conversation maybe 15 minutes but a few months later I got an invitation to the charity gala the Gibson's were hosting. I accepted hoping, I could meet Jodie Foster. No such luck though. Anyway they were having a bachelor auction and I was convinced to participate. A dinner date with me went for ten thousand. Some movie producer's wife bought me for her daughter. We had a fun date but I never called her. That's how I know Mel"

"How fun was the date?"Ally asked.

Jax grinned"Nothing to worry about darling. It wasn't nearly as fun as our first date. It ended at midnight and I kissed her cheek. You're really cute when you are jealous though"

"I'm not jealous just curious"She laughed.

Jax paid the tab and they dropped Liz off at home. Jax sent Paul home for the evening. He quickly called V. to tell her to send the contracts and he faxed her his proxy from the beach house. Ally went upstairs to change out of the Chanel pantsuit she had worn. She was going to put on her jeans and a T-shirt when she spotted Jax's P.J. top lying on the dresser where she had thrown it earlier. She had an idea, she slipped into it and went downstairs. Jax had just said good bye to V. He almost dropped the phone when he saw her.

"Do you have any idea what you are doing to me right now Ally?"He said longingly.

"I have an idea. Why don't you show me so I'll know for sure?"She said flirtatiously.

Jax kissed her hand, her elbow, her shoulder, her neck, her cheek and her temples. Then he gave her an extraordinarily sensuous deep kiss on the lips. "That's what you do to me"He whispered.

Ally completely lost her train of thought. "I had an idea of what we could do but you just made me lose my mind,"She said sweetly.

He caressed her face with his thumb, traced her lips with his finger and gave her a series of long gentle feathery kisses that just barley touched her lips. Ally couldn't take it any longer. She pulled Jax into her and gave him the deepest most sensuous kiss he had ever had. The force of it caused him to take a step back to regain his balance. Jax had lost his mind and Ally's lips were on fire. He stood there looking at her in fascination. She smiled at him seductively, reached for his hand and led him up to the bedroom.

She picked up his P.J. bottoms and handed them to him. He gave her a quizzical look. He opened his mouth to speak but Ally kissed her finger and put it over his lips to silence him. She shook her head no. Jax was definitely intrigued. She smiled at him and looked at the pants and then back to him. She nodded her head in the direction of the bathroom. Jax raised an eyebrow. She just smiled back and pointed to the bathroom. Jax got the message and went to change. When he came back, she was sitting cross legged on the middle of the bed. She patted the spot beside her and Jax joined her. She held up one finger, touched his chin and kissed it. She held up two fingers, touched his lips and kissed them. She held up three fingers, touched his forehead and kissed it. Ally held up four fingers, touched the right side of his neck and kissed it. She held up one hand, touched the left side of his neck and kissed it. Jax was throughly enjoying her silent game. He loved the fact that he had to pay attention to her eyes, to watch her every move and anticipate what would come next. She flashed each finger counting up to five and kissed each area again more passionately. She slowly counted backwards from five putting each finger down. She kissed each area in reverse. The kisses were long and tantalizing. She put two fingers up again and gave his lips an erotic kiss. Jax felt a shock go through his entire body. Ally smiled at him, pointed at him then her and held up one finger and touched her chin. He gave her a sexy smile and repeated the entire game for her. After the last two finger kiss he wiggled a finger and gave her the stop sign. Ally looked at him in amusement. He showed her one hand and another finger for six. A huge grin broke out on her face and her eyes were sparkling. He circled her face with his finger hovering over it with his lips. He finally touched her nose and gave it a tender kiss.

Ally nudged Jax with her elbow and laid down. He followed her lead. She snuggled up to his warm body and kissed his chest over his heart.

"Did you like my little game?"She asked quietly.

"I loved your game Ally. It took intimacy to a whole new level. Looks and touches can be so much more powerful than words. Not to mention more pleasurable. Next time I get to pick the five areas"He said.

"Okay but six is mine then"She giggled.

"I have a game for you. Word association, say the first thing that comes to you mind"He said.

"Okay question time. Why windows for eyes, early for sunset, cake for wedding and paper for money?"he asked.

"The eyes are windows to your soul, sunrise is too early in the morning to be awake, wedding cake because I'm hungry and Liz's is my favourite kind and all money really is, is paper"She explained.

They played the stranded on a desert island what books and music do you bring with you game. Jax laughed at her when she said a dictionary so she could finally learn to spell. They played 20 Questions and I Spy until they ran out of topics and objects. Ally got her turn at word association and was thrilled when Jax answered you for love, Ally for passion and perfection. She laughed when he answered sink for cruise. She asked him if he had seen Titanic lately. She wondered how someone who owned 3 yachts could even think about sinking and still go out on a boat. They tested each other with tongue twisters and geography questions. Jax forgot he was playing with a travel agent and lost badly.

Jax was amazed that he was so throughly enjoying himself. He usually hated lying in bed. He was a man of action. If he wasn't sleeping, fooling around or making love he had no use for a bed.

Yet he was completely happy to be holding Ally and playing silly pass the time games with her.

If someone would've told him last week that he'd spend an entire afternoon in bed doing nothing he would have had them committed for insanity. Ally had certainly changed his life in 4 short days. She held a very strange and powerful calming influence over him. She made him slow down, relax, absorb his surroundings and stop to smell the proverbial roses. Ally truly appreciated the simple things in life and he knew it was only a matter of time before she converted him. He was sure that if he asked her to describe her idea of a perfect day it would involve sleeping until noon, taking a long walk on the beach, watching the sunset and making love. His idea of perfect would be going for a run while the sun rose, surfing, playing tennis, jet skiing, playing volleyball, walking on the beach, taking a sunset cruise and making love to Ally. He realized that he could probably fit in his sporting activities and crawl back into bed without her even knowing it. How she could happily sleep the morning away was beyond his comprehension.

Even Brenda didn't sleep as late as Ally.

Ally wondered if Jax had fallen asleep on her. He had been very quiet for a while. She turned her head to check. His aquamarine eyes were open and she could see he was deep in thought. She studied his face. He was truly a beautiful man with perfectly chiseled features. He favourite feature after his eyes was his cleft. It gave his face character and made him irresistible. Jax was still unaware that he was being studied. She wondered what he was thinking about. She kissed him gently drawing him back to reality.

"Penny for your thoughts,"She said softly.

"A penny? I hope my thoughts are worth a lot more than that."He laughed.

"Maybe, but that's all I can afford. You're the billionaire in this relationship remember."She said.

"I was thinking about you and how you've changed my life. You have me enjoying things I use to hate."Jax said sweetly.

"Really? So what did you use to hate Jasper. ?"

"Besides being called Jasper"He teased.

"Yes Jasper, I know you don't like to be called Jasper, but I'm calling you Jasper anyway Jasper. So what else did you hate Jasper?"She teased back.

"Annoying beautiful blondes and lying around in the middle of the day doing nothing. Yet I'm in no rush to move. I'm actually really enjoying myself. It's all because of you, my annoying wench"

"Why thanks, however my work has only just begun. You think too much, move too much, sleep too little and drive yourself to hard Jax. You have to learn to stop, relax and let your body rejuvenate itself. Sleep is not the enemy. I'm not saying you have to enjoy sleep as much as I do"

"Ally, the Sandman doesn't enjoy sleep as much as you do and it's his job"He laughed.

"Stop interrupting me you overachieving nerd. As I was saying, the body needs a minimum of 7 hours of sleep a night. That's a minimum not something to strive for. Remember sweetie life is about quality not quantity."She reflected.

"You are going to have your work cut out for you. I have to teach you what a sunrise is Ally. They are really quite beautiful"He teased.

Ally laughed,"I have the easier assignment!"

"So I guess I get to meet your parents on Saturday. Think they'll like me?"

"They'll love you when they get to meet you. They're not coming to the wedding. My Dad broke his leg last Tuesday and he is still in traction. He told me Monday that his first order of hospital business when he returned would be overhauling the patient meals. I felt so bad that I ordered him his favourite pizza and had it delivered for lunch. He should be getting another one for dinner tonight."

"That's sweet Al. Speaking of meals, I'm starving. Come help me figure out what we can eat."Jax said.

They went downstairs to the kitchen. Ally quickly surveyed the fridge."Since we just got out of bed and we are in our P.J's how about eggs. I make the world's fluffiest and most delicious omelettes"She offered.

"Sounds good to me, need any help?"

Ally asked him to grate some cheddar cheese and cut up mushrooms. She cut up onions and peppers then made them each a 3-egg omelette packed with cheese and veggies. Jax was impressed it was the best omelette he ever had. I've finally found someone who knows how to cook he thought. Miranda was clueless and Brenda tried but she managed to burn boiling water and thought toast was black then you scrapped it off to look normal.

After dinner He brought out two photo albums for Ally. They were full of pictures of Jerry and Jax as kids and teenagers. Jerry was tall like Jax and had the same smile and devilish look in his eyes. The same look that made her heart skip a beat. The similarities ended there. Jerry was skinnier with brown hair and green eyes. He was good looking but not drop dead gorgeous like Jax. He had her laughing so hard at the antics they pulled and the practical jokes they played that she was in tears and her side was killing her.

Jax made her lie down on the couch and he gave her a deep body massage. She relaxed so much that she felt like a jelly fish and she couldn't move when he was finished.

"You know Jax if you ever lose your millions you could make it all back as a masseuse"She said.

"Let's hope it never comes to that,"He said in a mock horror.

"So when was the last time you saw Jerry?"

"Last Thanksgiving,"He replied.

"Geez, I figured you were a close knit family"

"We are, we just don't see each other very often. We talk on the phone and E-mail a lot. My Mom came down to see me last week. She went home on my jet and that's how I ended up on your flight."

"Remind me to thank her. I'm so grateful she stole your jet."

Jax smiled."That was a flight of..."

"Destiny"She finished.

Jax kissed her softly and started undoing her buttons.

"You're insatiable Jasper. Talk about your one track mind,"She laughed.

"When it comes to you, Ally yes I am."He said wickedly.

Ally laid back on the couch resting her head on the arm. Jax was on top of her in an instant. He gave her several smoldering kisses on the lips and worked his way down to her breasts. His touch set her skin on fire. His cell phone rang and she picked it up just as he started kissing her nipples.

"Oh Jasp"She moaned into the phone"Hello, hello, Jax I'm on the phone! Hello is anyone there?

The phone clicked.

"No more distractions"He said as he picked her up and carried her to bed to continue their love making.

The caller stared at the phone. Who was answering Jax's phone and moaning his name in obvious pleasure? The caller did not like this development and had to find out who this girl was and what her relationship was to him.
