Amor Vincit Omnia Part 7

by Crystal

The party was winding down, and all the guests were leaving. Jax and Brenda were saying goodbye to everyone and thanking them for coming.

"Mac, I'm glad you came, its been too long." Jax told his friend.

"Well, you and Brenda should come visit us soon, I know you can afford it." Duncan smiled.

"Thanks, We may take you up on that." Jax said shaking his hand.

Brenda had said all her goodbyes and was looking for Jax. She spotted him with Duncan, and made her way over to them.

"Hey can anyone join in this conversation or is it private?" She asked as she linked her arm through Jax's.

"Brenda, it was a pleasure meeting you." Duncan smiled. Brenda stood on her toes and kissed his cheek.

"I'm so glad I got the chance to meet you, I love meeting Jax's friends."

"I'm glad too. You are just as charming and beautiful as he described."

Brenda smiled sweetly.

"You'll come visit?" Duncan directed the question at both of them.

"Of course." They said in unison.

"Good." Duncan slapped Jax on the back playfully and walked away.

John and Jane then approached them.

"Well loves, we are headed back to the hotel, have a wonderful evening, and try to stay out of trouble." Jane hugged Brenda.

"We will." Jax said as he kissed his mother and Brenda hugged John.

Finally all the guests had left, and the Quartermaines said their goodnights and went inside. Only Reginald was left cleaning up the mess.

"So are you ready?"

"Ready for what?" She asked.

"A test drive in my present of course." Jax laughed.

Jax picked Brenda up and carried her to the car.

"Um, this thing still isn't street legal."

"So, we will take back roads." Jax grinned.

"Oh fine, if I have to deliver our child in prison, it's all your fault."

"I think my two favorite people should be the first to ride in it with me, what do you say little one?" Jax whispered to Brenda's stomach. "Baby says he agrees with Daddy." Jax informed her.

Brenda gave him a look of adoration. He was the sweetest man she had ever met. Jax buckled Brenda's seat belt, and kissed her before shutting the door. He qucikly went to the driver's side to get in.

"So where are we going?" Brenda asked.

"Well home of course." Jax grinned, taking her hand in his before starting the engine.

They pulled onto Maple Creek drive ten minutes later. They were so delirious with joy they didn't notice the car following them.

Jax pulled into the driveway of their new home and Brenda gasped at its beauty, and the huge red bow that was wrapped around it.

"Where did you find that bow?"

"Ah, I can't give away my secrets."

He picked her up out of the car and carried her into the house, across the threshold. They toured the house, and Brenda smiled in awe. Jax takes her out onto the balcony to view the steep cliffs and the creek below.

They walked back inside, and sat down in front of the bay window.

"I have something for you." He whispered.

"Oh yeah?"

He handed her a velvet covered box, which she opened carefully. Inside she found a beautiful locket, she opened it to find a picture of their first wedding.

"Oh honey, it's beautiful, it looks antique. Where did it come from?"

"From Mum, it has been handed down from three generations of daughters and she wants you to have it, because she considers you her daughter." Brenda felt the tears roll down her cheeks as Jax fastened the necklace around her neck.

"I have something for you, but it is not as wonderful as this." She smiled.

"Somehow I doubt that, can I see it?"

"Of course." She smiled and handed him the box. He opened it to find a gold nugget ring with a diamond and a onyx. He read the inscription. "Through the dark and light, Nobody Leaves."

Jax smiled. "Nobody Leaves, I love it." He kissed her and everything in the world just disappeared. The next thing Brenda knew, they were in the house on the living room floor.

Suddenly his lips were on hers, and he was on top of her.

They made an incredible kind of love on the floor. They connected, as they always did on every emotional and physical level. They became one body and one soul.

Lying in each others arms, the whole world seemed a million miles away. Jax finally looks at his watch, and suddenly jumped up.

"We have to go."

Brenda looked at him puzzled. "Huh?"

"We're going to be late, it's after ten, come on." Jax pulled her to her feet.

"It's not going to be long before getting up out of the floor is going to be impossible for me." She laughed.

"Ah, I will always be here to help you." He gave her a killer grin. They dressed quickly and headed out the door.

They drove to the docks where Brenda was shocked to see the yacht docked, and saw that the lights were on.

Jax took Brenda's hand and helped her board the yacht. She smiled softly at the sight before her eyes. There was romantic music playing, and a small table lit by candlelight set up on the deck. On the table sat covered dishes with food she was sure would be as wonderful as Jax.

"Dinner is served." Jax whispered.

They ate, never taking their eyes off each other. During the meal the yacht began to move.

"Honey where are we going?"

"Sailing of course." Jax smiled.

The atmosphere was perfect, the soft music, the warm breeze, the scent of Jax's cologne.

"May I have this dance?" Jax asked.

"Of course."

They danced, a slow, sexy dance. He kissed her, and she welcomed him into her arms. Suddenly there were no words, only movements. Their hands were every Brenda felt her emotions come to a boil. A thousand sensations rippled through her simultaneously. His blood sizzled. She clung to him.

"God, I want you."

"Take me." She wrapped her legs a vise around his waist.

His hand slid down her throat, across the swell of her breasts, before resting on her pertruding stomach. His simple touch took her breath away. He kissed her again, and as the kiss deepened, a small sigh escaped her.

Suddenly they were on the bed. Her hands roamed his body, first his chest, then his stomach, his hips, she couldn't get enough of him. She lowered her hands and he groaned with pleasure.

"Let me take you to paradise."

She arched against him as he playfully aroused her with his tongue. She moaned hungrily.

"I need you NOW." Brenda gasped.

"My love." He whispered. "Being your slave what should I do but tend upon the hours and times of your desire. I have no precious time at all to spend nor services to do til you require."

"I've heard that somewhere before, so I guess that means now is a definite option." She laughed

"Baby, I'm yours." he grinned.

He eased himself on top of her. They joined together in pure ecsasty. Their movents were tender and achingly slow savoring every moment. They were connecting, far beyond the physical realm.

She closed her eyes. The wonderous sensations one after another spearing through them made them writhe with pleasure. The world was no longer on its axis, it spun crazily out of control. They made love, the tenderness giving way to playful and teasingly movements, finally becoming furious and wildly primitive. They were in a dark labyrinth, a light spilled over them, and everything was perfect.

A few minutes later, when Jax and Brenda were resting peacefully in each others arms, Brenda suddenly turned to look at Jax.

"Think in thirty years we will still want to make love three times a day?" She asked.

"Hmm, I'm game if you are."

"Well if pregnancy doesn't slow us down, I don't think age will either, I can't imagine ever getting tired of this. I'll be right back. Your son seems to like sitting on my bladder." Brenda said as she got up to go to the bathroom.

"Stubborn like his mother." He grinned. "Don't stay gone too long." Jax called to her.

Across the pier stood Miranda with binoculars spying on the happy couple.

"Damn her." Miranda muttered, before stalking away. "He's mine, she has no right to be in his arms."

Jax and Brenda were dressed again, standing on the deck of the yacht star gazing, when they heard something. Jax checked his watch, 11:40 right on time.

"What's that noise?" Brenda asked.

"Hmm, it looks like a boat coming this way." Jax smiled at her.

"Jax what is going on?" She asked as the boat neared and she saw a two men aboard the vessel, one in ministers clothing and the other in a dark suit.

"Well we can't very well get married without a minister." Jax kissed her.

"We're getting married?"

"Yes, if its alright with you."

She squealed with delight "What do you mean, of course its alright."

"I mean if you'd rather have a big wedding--"

"NO" she cut him off. "Jax our second wedding, although it didn't happen wasn't nearly as special as our first. I like the idea of our ceremony being a private, intimate thing. Not that I don't want the entire world to know how I feel, its just--"

"Shhh--say no more. I agree."

At that Brenda jumped into Jax's arms, and showered him with kisses.

The wedding was going off without a hitch, and Brenda and Jax were in heaven. The ministers words interrupted her thoughts.

"Do you want to say your own vows?"

Jax looked at Brenda. "Well." Brenda began. "This was a total surprise, so I don't have anything prepared, but I think I have some things I'd like to say yes. Jax?"

"Well since I did know," He grinned. "Yes, I wrote something."

"Very well." The minister began. "Go ahead."

Jax took Brenda's hands in his own.

"Brenda, a year ago tonight we pledged our lives to each other. So much has happened since then. Together we overcame it all. Together we can do anything. There is no mountain we can't climb, or desert we can't go through as long as we have each other. I have never loved so much in my life, I never thought it was possible to love this much. I promise you, that you and our child will always be loved, honored, cherished, respected and protected. I will never leave you, hurt you, take advantage of you, frighten you or scream at you. You are my life, my very soul. I will love you forever. Nothing can diminish our love not even death. This is the beginning of a whole new chapter in our love story. Now three hearts beat as one not just two."

Brenda wiped the tears from her eyes before beginning.

"Jax, there's so much I want to say to you. I've been in love before, at least I thought I had. But it was nothing compared to this. You are my life, my love, my very existance." Brenda pauses briefly and touches his face.

"You were this amazing miracle that came into my life and took all the pain away. I wake up next to you wondering what I did to deserve such a precious gift. I can't imagine my life without you. I can't imagine where I would be if we had never met. I don't know many things, but I know that I love you and our love will guide us through anything. I love everthing about you, your face, your smile, your eyes, the way they change colors with your moods from the murkiest gray, to the clearest blue. You are a man who is not afraid to love, cry or stand up for the things he believes in. A man who is peaceful by nature but a warrior at heart. I am so lucky to have you in my life, to have you as our child's father. He is the luckiest baby in the world to have you on his side, and I am the luckiest woman in the world. Our love, will remain, until the end of time."

"I now pronounce you man and wife. Mr. Jacks, you may kiss your bride."

"YES!" Brenda exlaimed before jumping into Jax's arms. "We are legal, even if I did get married in a black dress." She giggled.

"You've never looked more beautiful, besides we are not exactly a traditional couple." Their lips touched in a kiss as pure as a winter's snow.

The minister and the witness left, and Jax and Brenda spent the rest of the night in a place of sheer escasty.

The next morning, while Brenda is in the bathroom, Jax takes the opportunity to call Anna.

"Hello." a female voice answered.

"Hello yourself." Jax replied.

"Jax, somehow I knew you'd be calling me again." Anna replied.

"Guess I'm predictable. Come up with anything yet?" Jax inquired.

"Maybe."

"I'm not in the mood for games, just spill it." Jax barked beginning to get irritated.

"Well, your in a snit aren't you? Suffice to say, your dear Miranda has been a very busy girl, and isn't as innocent as she appears to be."

"Yeah, tell me something I don't know. Do you know where the information is?"

"I've located it in Paris...but Jax the records are sealed."

"So." Jax stated. "I'll meet you there in two days." he finished, before hanging up the phone.

His first insitinct was to call Brenda's name, and tell her what he had found out.

"No." Jax told himself, not yet. She's got enough on her mind without this too. Dr Sedwick was adament--No undo stress. She's too far along to risk something now. It will be best to wait until I know something, then I will tell her. He tried to convince himself. He hated keeping things from her.

Just then Brenda came from the bathroom. Dressed in a short set.

"Well you remembered to bring us some extra clothes at least." Brenda smiled. "Even if I did get married in black. Isn't that like a bad omen?"

"No." Jax pulled her down to his lap. "There are only blue skies in our future, stop worrying about what you got married in."

"Okay. So..." Brenda patted his arm and got up. " When will they be here?" Brenda asked jumping up and down.

"Sweetheart, calm down. They will begin to arrive anytime. Don't you remember from last year, they just show up when they can?"

"YES!!!" Brenda smiled. "I know, I know, I'm just so excited. We all said we'd meet again on our first anniversary but I never really expected it to happen."

"Oh, ye of little faith." Jax kissed her forehead.

"No, it wasn't that honey." She explained. " I just have never allowed myself to think that far in advance that's all. And now suddenly I'm thinking thirty years in advance. It is really amazing."

"You are really amazing." Jax kissed her.

"No, we are really amazing." She corrected him and they melted into a kiss.

Coming next: The last part of J&B's anniversary...Sorry it took up three installments but I didn't want to cram it all into one. 1
