He steps up to the mic..the lights are down low and the tempo of the
music
in the background is slow..he begins to sing in a low seductive voice;
his
emotions running deeper than anyone could ever know..hearts and hands are
open wide inviting him to come inside; but all he hears are the voices
that
echo behind him..he is flying high absorbed in his music and suddenly he
stops and imagines himself as a bird flying high in the distance..the
song
is over and the audience is silent but only for a moment..he wonders out
loud does anyone love him..does anyone love him for who he is and not
what
he is?..but all he hears is the screams coming from the audience showing
all their love and aderation..seeminly thinking to himself he wonders but
could they love me as an individual and not as a member of NKOTB?..the
music starts again and this time it is a pumping up-tempo song with a
message of positivity in hanging in the air..the man singing the song
wonders do they ever hear my message that I keep repeating every night in
every single town in every single state?
...could that message somehow be clear to them?..or have they lost the
faith
that they once had in me?..is my message so old and worn out?..no he
thought it's not old and it will never be worn out; listen to how the
audience is reacting maybe I am really getting through to them..the music
stops but only for a few minutes and a young man takes the stage front
and
center and begins to speak to the audience..he too want to know if they
will love him for himself and not because he is a part of this group of
friends he had made..the audience goes wild and not one responds as he
thinks they hear his voice and they hear his words but they are not
really listening to him..so the music begins and this song of love starts
pouring out of this young mans sould and he stands there and begs her not
to
go..but she just can't seem to want to stay..and as the last note fades
away he disappears back behind with the rest of the guys..then another
one steps up and to the mic and he too is wondering something but this time
it is different..he is wondering why she didn't do right by him..he swears
he will never be led on that way again that would never trust anyone
again..but in his mind he knows he will..the audience is crazy over his
song and they are screaming at the top of their voices..then eveyone
calms down and all five takes a stool and sits and the one who began the
show
earlier starts with a message, it is a message of hope and it is a
message of peace, but most of all it is for everyone of them to listen
to..the
sound of the audience is deafening and they know every single word to the
song by heart..this makes the young men happy and they know now that
every single message they sent out that night was recieved..and when the
show
is over and the last song has been sung..everyone has gone home for the
night..in their hearts contents they will remember everything they shared
with you that night..even if it was to be the final night they would ever
be on the same stage again..
